Has there ever been a more perfect example of total outfit envy?
Vanessa Hudgens is killing it from black hat to white toe nails in this impeccable coffee-grabbing style. If we didn't know better, we'd think this was a posed look for a "L.A. street chic" photo shoot. Every piece has obviously been carefully selected by the Machete Kills star, but the result is still as breezy as a Malibu beach day.
What makes it work so well? The former Disney diva followed three simple style rules that every "best coast" girl should know:
1. Go big with one element. In this case, it's that floppy hat (aka the J.Lo) with all it's sexy, hiding from the paparazzi power.
2. Pair slouchy with fitted. Vanessa's distressed boyfriend jeans have a hot, tomboy effect, but the leather jacket and cropped white top bring it back to girly-with-edgy territory.
3. Keep the accessories in one theme. The Cali native's choice appears to be country boho on account of the leather belt and chunky brown sandals with that intricate silver necklace.
