There was a McKinley High School reunion over Halloween weekend!
Chord Overstreet and Kevin McHale turned out in support of their onscreen Glee coach Matthew Morrison for his 7th Annual Halloween Party Presented by Freixenet Cava and Podwall Entertainment in Los Angeles Saturday evening.
E! News had exclusive access into the blowout bash, where Marc Malkin caught up with Morrison about the celeb-loved event. "I can't believe it's been seven years of doing this annual party," Morrison told us. "You get to that point where it's kind of like, 'Oh I wanna do this. But I know we already did that.' You're kind of starting to reuse a lot of the old outfits."
The actor and his wife Renee Puente picked perfectly on trend costumes for the event, with Morrison going as the Joker and Puente channeling her inner Harley Quinn from this summer's blockbuster hit Suicide Squad.
As for why the couple continues their Halloween tradition every year, Renee dished that it's all about "friends and loved ones getting together and having a wonderful night." Morrison added, "That's the big thing. With us living in New York now, this is our only time of the year to get everyone together and just be kids."
And as it turns out, Morrison has extra reason to celebrate come fall time because his birthday just so happens to be Oct. 30!
"I loved that my birthday is the day before Halloween because it always was tied into Halloween," the 38-year-old admitted. "I remember having really crazy sugar highs because I'd go out and have all this cake for my birthday and then the next night was trick or treating. I would get crazy on sugar."
And now check out the video above to find out what Matthew had to say about married life and a possible Glee reunion.
