Hannah Combs Fights Back With #JusticeForHannah Hashtag After Bully Burns Her Scalp With Super Glue

Weeks later, the teen has decided to come out as a voice against bullies

In September, a boy at Hannah Combs' school covered her hair in super glue in an act of bullying. The damage was so bad that the 15-year-old girl experienced first-degree chemical burns. As a result of the burns, she had to shave one side of her head.

According to KDHNews, "When Christian Grimmer, Hannah's father, arrived, he said he became furious at the lack of action he saw from the school staff. The administration had not taken the boy into custody and did not until Grimmer threatened to call 911, according to the family. Grimmer, a retired soldier, also said an assistant principal got in his face, telling him to calm down and 'take that attitude elsewhere.'" Nope! Not cool, guys.

Luckily, out of a dark time emerged the Justice for Hannah Facebook community page, where Hannah and her parents have managed, weeks later, to turn a terrible situation into a positive one. Through this community, Hannah has now become a voice for those who have lost theirs to bullying. "I want to make a difference. That's my goal in life," she posted to Facebook.

Together the family started the hashtag #JusticeForHannah, which has gained the teen a slew of Internet supporters. We're loving this news: Hannah was even given a complimentary haircut by a stylist who volunteered her time to fix the teen's hair. Have you seen the pics? The new cut is beyond chic!

Nikki from The Salon in Harker Heights volunteered her time today to fix Hannah's hair. She is a miracle worker!!! Nikki...

One post on the page reads, "Our goal was reached to get the school to right their wrong. Please continue to be beautiful individuals and to speak up if you see bullying. It could save another's life!" Preach!

We're proud of Hannah for not letting this situation take her down!
