UPDATE: We fawned over Andreja Pejic and Jamie Chung's first Make Up For Ever ads last month, and now the first video for the campaign has arrived: Transgender model and activist Pejic opens up about her history-making turn as face of the brand, and we couldn't be happier for her.

"I'm the first openly transgender female model to land a cosmetics contract. It means pushing boundaries in a positive way," she says, applying a swipe of sexy orange-red gloss. Watch the full video above for more!

Make Up Forever

Transgender model Andreja Pejic is serving major face in her new Make Up For Ever ads.

The 23-year-old, whose partnership with the beauty brand was announced in April, is featured in a series of shots that accentuate her pretty flawless bone structure. And according to WWD, this campaign is history-making, too: Pejic is the first transgender model to be featured in a major cosmetics campaign. The Be Bold ad series showcases the versatility of the model's features—she can carry a heavy smoky eye, brick red lip and even a slash of electric blue liner beneath her eyes.

"It's a dream to have a cosmetics contract as my first major campaign as a female model, and that it is with Make Up For Ever, a brand that stands for helping people feel confident in expressing themselves, is beyond words," Pejic told WWD. The model, who famously walked the runway for both men's and women's ready-to-wear collections after being discovered in a Melbourne McDonald's at 16, underwent gender-confirmation surgery last year.

Vogue first featured the news in a profile on Pejic published April 21, in which the model admits that she prefers "doing shoots" to hitting the catwalk. Well, we can see why—the Australian beauty rocked it.

Make Up Forever

Actress Jamie Chung joins Andreja as the face of Make Up For Ever's Be Bold campaign, starring in a range of close-to-face shots that also feature bright, distinctive beauty looks (we'd like to try them all!).

The Be Bold ads debuted at Sephora on July 16.
