Just as some British designers have felt the glow of the "Kate effect," the "Bey effect" is in full swing in NYC.
While out in the Big Apple with hubby Jay Z, the star was spotted rocking distressed H&M jeans that retail for...wait for it...
Of course, a little high-low style never hurts: Beyoncé paired her pants with a graphic-print Charlotte Olympia clutch, neon Proenza Schouler sandals, and a tank top that read, "Never Forget To Say Thank You." So, not exactly the girl next door, but definitely style that the adoring masses could try on for size!
But back to the denim: The high-waisted skinny jeans, ripped from top to bottom, show off Beyoncé's carefully cultivated figure, hugging her curves in all the right places.
We tried getting our hands on a pair of these very jeans, but with no luck! These babies are sold out everywhere!
Perhaps in the meantime, we can just work out Beyoncé-style. On May 4, she stole the spotlight at the Met Gala in a sheer and beaded Givenchy number that showed off (literally) just how hard she works.
