Sorry fellow actors, but you just can't top Meryl Streep!

Chris Pine paid a visit to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Monday night where his Into the Woods co-star just so happened to be brought up.

While most of the cast had to pre-record all their songs in a studio, Pine's experience was a little bit different.

"I have two songs so I was called in to record one and there was all these Disney executives," the actor recalled to Jimmy Fallon. "It was nerve racking. Meryl is on her little seat and drinking her pinot grigio."

As it turns out, it wasn't the presence of Streep that got Pine sweating. It was the moment all the big-wigs from the studio heard her singing voice.

"Within three bars, everyone is sobbing," Pine recalled. Well that's a pretty tough act to follow.

Luckily, the 34-year-old had plenty of singing experience in the shower of all places.

"First you soap up, you do your business, then you have 15-20 minutes of singing. It's very normal," he recently explained to Ellen DeGeneres. "It's the acoustics, right? You just sound better in the shower."

For the record, Pine auditioned for Rob Marshall in his living room with the song "Fly Me to the Moon." Basically, nobody was wet in the making of this casting.

Singing abilities aside, Pine has nothing but love for Streep who doesn't disappoint both on and off screen.

"She's everything you want her to be," he explained. "She's obviously Meryl Streep and mega talented."
