Matthew McConaughey may be up for a Golden Globe for his riveting performance in Dallas Buyers Club. But even if he doesn't take a statuette home this Sunday, the guy is already a winner, as Jimmy Fallon pointed out when the actor made an appearance on Late Night on Monday, Jan. 6.

"You've won awards in the past," the talk show host noted. "We went and did some research."

Fallon then proceeded to pull out an old black and white high school photo showing McConaughey wearing a sash that reads, "Most Handsome."

"That is a stud right there," Fallon gushed. "'Most Handsome.' How was it like winning 'Most Handsome'?"

"It was good, man. It was my senior year," McConaughey replied. "Although, winning this award cost my family some money, though."

"What are you talking about?" Fallon asked.

The 44-year-old star then recalled a time when, as a teenager, a disastrous attempt to rid himself of pimples led to an unsuccessful lawsuit.
