Tris and Four have some serious chemistry.
Divergent stars Shailene Woodley and Theo James share a steamy first kiss in the latest clip for the highly anticipated action-adventure thriller.
The pair, clad in trademark Dauntless black, stand alone as Ellie Goulding's song "Dead in the Water" plays.
"Can I ask you something?" the 22-year-old brunette beauty wonders before inquiring about her handsome mentor's tattoos.
"Do you want to see it?" the 27-year-old English star responds as he takes off his shirt to reveal his ink-covered built bod.
Basically, you could cut the sexual tension with several knives.
"It's amazing," Tris says as she runs her hand down his back. "The factions, why do you have all of them?"
"I don't want to be just one thing," Four admits. "I can be. I want to be brave and I want to be selfless, intelligent and honest and kind. Although I am still working on kind."
And with that, the duo embraces and shares a passionate lip lock.
Set in a dystopian Chicago, Divergent centers on a society divided into five factions, each dedicated to a particular virtue—honest Candor, selfless Abnegation, brave Dauntless, kind Amity and intelligent Erudite—with all 16-year-olds required on a particular day to select the faction to which they will devote the rest of their lives.
Tris is told that her results are inconclusive, making her divergent. Divergents do not fit into any society and Tris must hide who she is and find out what makes divergents so dangerous before it's too late.
The film adaptation of Veronica Roth's bestselling young adult novel also stars Maggie Q, Kate Winslet and Miles Teller. It is set to hit theaters on March 21, 2014.
