Looks like the cast of the Hunger Games is getting their Google Glass on.

While celebrating Global Fan Day and participating in the Global Google+ hangout in honor of the upcoming flick Catching Fire, castmembers Jennifer Lawrence (Katniss Everdeen), Liam Hemsworth (Gale Hawthorne), Josh Hutcherson (Peeta Mellark) and director Francis Lawrence decided to test out the latest high-tech fad and opted to document their experience on Instagram.

"#JenniferLawrence & #FrancisLawrence take Google Glass for a spin on #GlobalFanDay! Don't miss their LIVE Global Google+ Hangout on NOW: http://hungrgam.es/GPLUS - #GoogleCatchingFire," the official Hunger Games Instagram posted today.

J.Law, 23, is sporting her new pixie cut in the pic while wearing a slightly confused look on her face as she takes the Google Glass for a spin, along with her director, who looks equally amused with the cutting-edge technology.

"#JoshHutcherson & #LiamHemsworth test out Google Glass during #GlobalFanDay! Watch their LIVE Global Google+ Hangout now: https://hungrgam.es/GPLUS -#GoogleCatchingFire," read the caption on the pic of the Hunger Games' hunks.

Wearing a plaid shirt and a black tee, Josh has a giant grin on his face as he tests out the Google Glass, while Liam, looking sexy as always in a white shirt, appears to be in awe of the innovative gadget.

But the real headline of the day was undoubtedly Jen's dramatic haircut, which she unveiled via a Facebook post today before the fan Q&A.

"She loves it!" a source close to the star told E! News of the Oscar winner's big chop.

Presumably, the stunning star will be wearing a wig when she soon heads back to set to continue filming Mockingjay, the third installment in the film series based on Suzanne Collins' YA-novel, in order to pull off Katniss' signature braid.

Meanwhile, the second installment in the series, Catching Fire, hits theaters Nov. 22.
