You might say Katniss Everdeen is feeling the pressures of victory after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games.

The first clip of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is in the wild and by the reluctance on Jennifer Lawrence's face, the big-screen heroine has yet to firmly embrace her new role as symbolic leader of the burgeoning rebellion among the Districts of Panem.

The scene in question finds Katniss and her BFF Gale Hawthorne, played by Liam Hemsworth, engaged in deep conversation about what she should do to help those oppressed masses now that's she's become a threat to the tyrannical rule of President Snow (Donald Sutherland).

"You haven't heard people, Katniss. You've given them an opportunity. They just have to be brave enough to take it," Gale tells her.

"We have to go Gale before they kill us. They will kill us," she replies.

The eagerly awaited sequel picks up with Katniss and her fellow Hunger Games winner Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) being sent on a victory tour by Snow who, after seeing her growing popularity, plots to eliminate them. He subsequently enters the twosome in the Quarter Quell, a competition taking place every 25 years in which tributes past and present duel to the death in the arena.

This puts Katniss into a sticky situation, forced to survive the dangers sent her way while being held up as a beacon of liberation for a subjugated underclass.

"I don't want anyone looking to me. I can't help them," she says.

Of course, time will tell. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire hits theaters Nov. 22.
