This definitely wasn't the way Britney Spears planned to debut her new song "Work Bitch."

"Woke up today and saw that a low quality version of Work Bitch had leaked :( " Spears tweeted on Sunday morning.

But that didn't stop the Grammy winner from taking matters into her own hands and releasing the official version of the track a day early.

The new pop tune made its official and highly anticipated debut at 3 p.m. ET on iHeartRadio and local radio stations, with Spears drumming up excitement up until the final minute.

Brit works and the song does not disappoint.

"You wanna hot body? You want a Bugatti? You want a Maserati? You better work bitch," Spears sings to the beat.

"So…how'd we do?," the singer tweeted her fans shortly after 3 p.m. ET.  "Hope you all love it as much as I do?! #WORKBxxTCHPremiere"

The pop princess also announced that the song will go on sale on iTunes at 12:01 a.m. ET on Monday, Sept. 16. Her eighth studio album will be released on Dec. 3—a name has yet to be announced.

Spears released the cover art for "Work Bitch" on Thursday, Sept. 12 on Twitter, captioning the pic, "4 days people! Go call the Po-Lice! Go call the Governor! #WorkB"

Spears looks positively fierce in the promo shot, wearing a onesie with matching feathered sleeves and flaunting her curves and cleavage.
