How dare mother nature try to rain on Taylor Swift's parade!
The "Shake It Off" singer headed to Nationals Park in Washington D.C. Monday night to deliver another sold-out concert to thousands of fans.
But in between performing her No. 1 hits, the blond beauty experienced a bit of a scare when the extendable stage completely stopped working.
"They just told me in my ear that I might be stuck up here forever," she told the crowd during her gig. "This thing is broken."
She continued, "I was just thinking about how I was singing a song about rain and it rained today…it's not that funny…We're just gonna have to rechoreograph the entire show. It's fine. Whatever. It's gonna be a unique show D.C.!"
And unique it was. Minutes before the whole malfunction, guests of all ages were treated to another fabulous and oh-so-fierce surprise guest. But before the A-list star was revealed, Swift gave the packed house a few hints.
This performer flew 19 hours from her hometown to attend the show. The song she was about to sing won Song of the Year at the Grammys. Oh, and of course she was one of Swift's BFFs.
If you guessed Lorde, you're the big winner!

That's right, the New Zealand singer stepped onstage to perform her massive hit single "Royals" with Swift. As one can expect, everyone was on their feet with excitement.
And as for those technical difficulties regarding the stage, everything was fixed in a matter of minutes allowing her to finish the show with true style.
"I'm so happy, you guys!" she told fans. "I didn't know what I was going to do!"
