Everybody's getting in on the festivities!

In anticipation of the upcoming royal wedding between His Royal Highness Prince William of Wales and lucky duck Kate Middleton, Lifetime is readying a movie about their courtship and romance.

So when can you see this love story, and who's this kid playing Wills? Here's what we can tell you:

According to our sources, William & Kate will likely air on Lifetime the week before the wedding proper, which is set for April 29 at Westminster Abbey in London.

Newcomer Nico Evers Swindell has been cast as William, the role of Charles will be played by Star Trek alum Ben Cross, and the role of Kate remains open.

(Do you hear that buzzing noise? That's the sound of thousands of plucky brunette actresses with passable British accents zinging their headshots over to the Lifetime casting office!)

As for Nico, we're told he's originally from New Zealand, has a law degree and just got engaged to an actress. You may have previously seen him in guest spots on NCIS: Los Angeles and Law & Order. Also, he's not so hard on the eyes!

Lifetime's official description of the telepicture is as follows:

William & Kate tells the story of how the friendship between Prince William, second in line to the throne of the British monarchy, and future princess Kate Middleton, the stunning daughter of upper middle-class commoners, blossomed into a romantic love affair, charming the world with their recent engagement and eagerly awaited Royal Wedding.  The film chronicles the history of William and Kate—from the moment the two students met at Scotland's prestigious University of St. Andrews, through the ups and downs of their nine-year courtship complicated by social and royal family pressures, and intense global media attention surrounding their storybook nuptials. William & Kate also stars Ben Cross as Prince Charles.

William & Kate will be produced by the Konigsberg Company, with Frank Konigsberg (Lifetime's Sex & Lies in Sin City, Lifetime Movie Network's Lies in Plain Sight) serving as executive producer. Mark Rosman (Greek, Ghost Whisperer) will direct the screenplay by Nancey Silvers (Lifetime's Sundays at Tiffany's and Girl, Positive).

Will you tune in this for this TV movie, or will you hold out for the real thing? Who do you think should play the role of Kate? Hit the comments!
