If we're to believe what our girl Kaley Cuoco (who is seriously rockin' that pink cast!) spills on today's The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Big Bang Theory is in for some mayjah changes when Penny pops back up.
For starters, the poor thing may be jobless...and preggers?!
OK, Penny is not carrying Leonard's geeky, genius baby. But Kaley does tell Ellen DeGeneres that there are no plans to address the giant elephant foot-cast in the room. In fact, they're just handling it like most TV pregnancies.
"They're not writing it in," she laughs. "[And] I'm not going to question it. I was kind of shocked. I thought they were going to, but they're just going to be hiding me kind of like when you're pregnant."
And that means the Cheesecake Factory may be losing its best—OK, not really best, but definitely cutest—waitress. "They're going to have her as a bartender now," Kaley tells Ellen of Penny's new leg-hiding gig.
In case you missed all the commotion last month, Kaley, an avid equestrian, fell off her horse in a freak accident during her riding lesson and broke her leg. Her appearance on Ellen today is the first time she's opened up about the injury, and—brace yourselves, because it sounds pretty ugly!
Explains Kaley: "At the end of the lesson, my horse spooked, and I wasn't really expecting it, and I fell off. I was laughing and my trainer was laughing. It was all very silly. I was getting up, and my horse was still kind of spooked... I think he was trying to get away from me and leaped over me and landed on my leg. I heard the crackling [and] I thought he landed on leaves—but that was my bones.
"I'm not feeling anything, and then I looked. And I was like, 'Wow, my foot is facing me. That's not normal!' So I got in there and the doctor doesn't introduce himself, and he says, 'OK, we've got to go over your options [and] one of them is amputation.' All I am thinking is, 'I'm going to have to call work and tell them I have one foot.' "
Luckily, Kaley's foot is still intact, and she's already back to work over on Big Bang. And we'll only be without her for two episodes, so big yays for that!
