The Stars React to Their Emmy Nominations!

Now that the nominations for the 61st Annual Emmy Awards are up, it's time for people to start saying, "Who?! Me?! Oh, that's so lovely. Thank you." Thrilling stuff, to be sure.
Still, we do want to call out one man for bringing the funny, even when the subject matter is moderately mundane, and that man is Neil Patrick Harris.
Read on to be amused by NPH and to see what nice things a bunch of good-looking and celebrated actors have to say about each other and their Emmy nods on this fine Thursday morning...
Alec Baldwin, nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for his work as Jack Donaghy on 30 Rock: "I'm thrilled for everyone connected to the show, but I'm especially excited for Jane, Jack and Tracy. It's great working with the entire group and I'm grateful for the recognition of our work."
Glenn Close, nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her work as evil (eeeevil) Patty Hewes on Damages: "I'm thrilled. I'm part of a phenomenal team and am so, so happy for all our nominees."
Neil Patrick Harris, nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor In A Comedy Series for his work as Barney Stinson on How I Met Your Mother: "I love being in the mix again this year, but am absolutely over the moon about HIMYM's Best Comedy Series nomination. The only multicamera show in the mix! This kind of recognition is huge for us. Just huge. It should be quite the night. Being asked to host the show—terrific. Getting a third nomination—fantastic. Having the ability to scribble my name in the envelope backstage when no one is looking—priceless."
Jane Krakowski, nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her work as Jenna Maroney on 30 Rock: "The writers have created an amazing character in Jenna which I just love to play. I'm so honored to be part of this ensemble, this is my first Emmy nomination, I'm so excited! I am blown away by the number of nominations the show has received and thrilled for everyone."
Vanessa Williams, nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her work as Wilhelmina Slater on Ugly Betty: "I'm thrilled and honored to be nominated again this year. I love my show and my character, Wilhelmina, and this recognition is truly icing on the cake."
Many more to come, so keep checking back!
