Jon (Johnathon?) Gosselin Still Can't Spell, Reacts to Kate

Last night was Kate Gosselin's turn to speak and pause for dramatic effect get choked up. And, because there's no way she could have the last word for more than a few hours, now it's Jon Gosselin's turn.

This time the word is "lieing." It reminds us of the time he misspelled his own name on a huge sign threatening some sort of "penelty" to trespassers at his home.

Of course, he takes a break from his current apology tour and starts today with a Twitter update that appears innocent enough. However, thanks to an extended tweet program, looks can be deceiving.

"Got up early this morning took Mady and Cara to the bus, Came home to then hug my other 6 little morsels," he begins. That's almost all you can see in the basic version but, if you dare click that ellipses-like link, you've got some of Papa G's patented spell check-defying bitterness in store. He takes on ex-GF Hailey Glassman and then lays into Kate.

Prepare for the sweet to get increasingly salty.

Jessica Simpson Thinks Melrose Place Is "Crap"

Jessica Simpson, Twitter Twitter

Jessica Simpson finally got around to tweeting about Melrose Place firing her sister, Ashlee, and she is none too happy with the writing staff. In fact, Jess thinks the show is worse than any of her straight-to-DVD movies like Major Movie Star and Blonde Ambition.

Last night she tweeted: "CW catching up on MP.who writes this crap?i have had bad scripts to work with, but this?thank God my sister is amazing and got you some press...Watch til Jan.. :)"

Wow. So Jessica believes that Melrose Place only got press because of Ashlee's amazing acting? That's not entirely accurate. While it's true that Ashlee was the most buzzed-about castmember and did most of the press leading up to the soap's premiere, it's the "amazing" part we're not quite buying. That said, we do think it's nice Jess is being a supportive big sister.

And in case you're curious, this is the "amazing" Ashlee Simpson-Wentz in action:

Stars All a-Twitter That This Is It Is It!

Michael Jackson,This Is It Sony Pictures

She may be 77-years-old, but Elizabeth Taylor is nothing if not a trendsetter.

Michael Jackson's close friend was the first to Twitter her review of the star's final performance, This Is It, in 19 rounds of 140 characters or less, but, after last night's premiere, she certainly wasn't the last.

And she wasn't the only idol loving the film either.

"I'm sitting in the Nokia Theater in awe of the This Is It movie!," wrote Paula Abdul. "So many emotions are coming up for me I can't believe He's Gone BRILLIANT."

"MJ movie is powerful," Ryan Seacrest said. "The singing…the dancing!! He was a perfectionist…and very funny."

Dancing With the Stars hottie Julianne Hough felt the message as well.

"MJ movie was amazing so inspiring and motivating!!! Let's make this world a better place," she encouraged.

Like Liz, one viewer thought the film was ripe for awards, while several Glee-ful stars gave their takes…

Bethenny Frankel Totally Having Perez Hilton's Love Child

Bethenny Frankel, Perez Hilton, Twitter twitter.com/Bethenny/status/4994683520, Stephen Lovekin/Getty Images, Steven Henry/Getty Images

Bethenny Frankel is engaged. That much we know for sure.

Whether or not the 38-year-old Real Housewives of New York City star is expecting a child as well is not entirely certain.

When Perez Hilton blogged about her supposedly knocked-up status, the cheeky Skinny Girl didn't confirm it…but she didn't flat-out deny it either. Instead, she implied a love that dare not speak its name, all for the sake of killer ratings for her upcoming solo show.

"Is preggers w perez hilton's 9 blue haired babies," she Tweeted about herself. "That's what my bravo show is about. We're going to beat jon & kate's ratings w 1 more baby!"

That's what we call circumlocution, people (a word that's probably in one of those Twilight-inspired SAT-prep books).

But, then again, she also tweeted about having a "girls' night" with Denise Richards, Lisa Rinna and The Insider's Lara Spencer, although no one's promising any tequila in those margaritas.

And let's not forget that the reality star confessed to E! News earlier this month that she "would definitely like to have children."

We're just sayin'.

Wife Swap Family Holding Breath for Ballon Boy

Heene Family, Wife Swap ABC

For about two hours today, we were riveted to our TVs, following the fate of the boy in the balloon. While it turns out the child was not in the Jiffy Pop-esque craft, the drama for his parents continues as they search for their still-missing son.

And it's not the clan's first-time in the spotlight.

Mayumi and Richard Heene and their three sons appeared last year on ABC's Wife Swap. Their network bio says the Colorado-based Heene's "live life on the edge. Wife Mayumi and storm scientist Richard take their three kids, Bradford, Ryo and Falcon, out of school to go on storm chasing missions to prove Richard's theories about magnetic fields and gravity." Richard also maintains a site dedicated to his storm-chasing activities

It is Falcon, 6, who was feared to be in the wayward balloon and who is now the subject of massive search.

Needless to say, the celebrity Twitterverse filled reactions and prayers.

Rihanna Enters Twitterverse, Announces New Album

Rihanna, Twitter twitter.com; Kevin Winter/Getty Images

Out with the old, in with the new.

Not wanting to be anything like Miley Cyrus or Courtney Love, Rihanna and/or her peeps have set up a Twitter account for the distinctive singer, making her a little late to the party, but a welcome guest all the same.

Her inaugural tweet: "The Wait Is Ova. Nov 23 09."

Sounds like an album release date... (And it is, according to the identical message on her website.) The upcoming effort will be her fourth studio album and first since 2007.

So, the ever-expanding and contracting Twitterverse has pulled another celeb into its orbit. We advise you to be on the lookout for any back-and-forth between the handles "rihanna" and "MechanicalDummy," aka Chris Brown, who yesterday twittered his concern after "So Cold," a tune off his upcoming album, ended up online.

"im a lil upset but i pray my album doesnt leak..," he wrote. We're sure "rihanna" feels the same way.

Hey Rihanna, feel free to start posting Twitter pics, like these celebs did from the Emmys red carpet!

Miley Who? Twilight Signs Up for Twitter!

New Moon, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner Summit Entertainment

Miley Cyrus leaving Twitter is, like, so five minutes ago, thanks to the social network's hottest new member.

Oh, @Twilight, where have you been all our lives?!

The Twilight Saga (or, rather, the folks at Summit Entertainment) has signed up to offer vamp and wolf lovers alike a glimpse at the daily goings on in the fictional world of Forks. And, after only 20 hours on the site, the goods just keep on comin'!

For example, this TwitPic of Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner wearing the same wig while Robert Pattinson looks on was "a Twitter exclusive!"

New Moon director Chris Weitz has shared the film's hefty runtime—two hours and 10 minutes of Robsten in all their glory—and a photo of him at the sound mixing stage.

This Is Not a Funny Way to Prank Jessica Simpson

Jessica Simpson Twitter Page Twitter

Jessica Simpson, everyone's favorite punching bag, came to terms with the loss of her Maltipoo, Daisy, last month. (So did Nick Lachey, btw, don't forget him!) Now it seems people are tormenting Jess with news of Daisy's miraculous resurrection, and obviously she does not appreciate it.

"People have been contacting my family and friends saying that Daisy has been found. Untrue. People are so cruel...please respect her memory," Jessica pleaded on her Twitter last night.

In other (read: better) missing Maltipoo news, Brooke Burns was reunited Friday with her lost dog, Max—making for at least one happy Hollywood pet owner.

Hollywood Acts Like It Won Obama's Nobel Peace Prize

Barack Obama, Twitter twitter.com/BarackObama

Mr. President, you've just been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. What are you going to do next?

Twitter, of course!

"Humbled," was all Barack Obama wrote on his account, but the post has been RT'ed so much throughout the Twitterverse that the word is near the top of the trending topics.

Needless to say, several celebs have chimed in with re-tweets and reactions positive and negative.

High School Musical's Corbin Bleu adds to his RT, "One of the reasons why I admire him." Modern Family's Jesse Tyler writes, "Love it! Congrats Obombs!!!!!" Dollhouse's Eliza Dushku links to CNN's story and says, "Incredible!"

"OBAMA is the greatest," types Chris Brown.

Then there was one of our favorite tweeps, Kirstie Alley, who was dubious of the choice...

Miley Cyrus Quits Twitter for New BF Liam Hemsworth

Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth Bret Thompsett/PacificCoastNews.com

Today as we were checking our top celebrity Twitters, we were shocked when we loaded @mileycyrus and the microblogging service informed us, "Sorry, that page doesn't exist!"

What! No more twittering from Miley Cyrus? What about her 2,119,677 followers? How will we know when she has strep throat? How will Lindsay Lohan invite Miley to her crappy fashion shows? Is Twitter really over for celebrities?

It appears the force behind this monumental decision is her Last Song costar and new boyfriend Liam Hemsworth. Her last tweet before signing off forever:

"FYI Liam doesn't have a twitter and he wants ME to delete mine with good reason."

After getting over the fact we are no longer privy to the oversharing of a 16-year-old, we started to realize this is definitely for the best...

Frances Bean Cobain Hates Ali Lohan's Sense of Entitlement

Ali Lohan, Frances Bean Cobain Jason Kempin/Getty Images; Donato Sardella/Getty Images

Frances Bean Cobain seems to have inherited a knack for the Twitter dramz from mom Courtney Love. But at least we can kind of decipher what the 17-year-old is trying to say unlike her mom's random rants about mortgage fraud or whatever is upsetting her at the moment.

For instance, it is very clear that the daughter of Love and Kurt Cobain does not like the sister of Lindsay Lohan at all. Famous person relative fight!

At first we thought Frances' open hate letter was the result of 15-year-old Ali Lohan wandering around Paris Fashion week wearing tiny little dresses and sky-high heels. But no, it was this—"Christmas Magic" from Ali's 2006 holiday album.

"This is the reason why i refuse entitlement to the fullest extent," Frances tweeted.

And now for the epic rant that soon followed, titled "This is my open letter to Ali Lohan", complete with the grammatical and spelling errors that make it a true Love-Cobain family rant:

"I am going to kill myself cuz I don't want to life in a world where its filled with IGNORANCE! which majority of you ARE! & racists!" she threatened. "As dark descends into my world…I drown at night, without a fight. One last breath before I go. Dont mourn me world, I will die slow."
