Spoiler Alert! A Desperate Housewives Spinoff?

Did you all catch Nicollette's final stint on Desperate Housewives the other night? We totally felt bad for the babe. You could tell through N's flat-lined narrative that this bitch was not pleased to be let go, and it gave us secondhand awkwardness listening to her unusually mundane voice. But Nic had every right to be pissed.
Execs were toying with killing off Edie for a while, but never gave her the final heave-ho until recently, ya know, when they informed Sheridan's costars first. Think of it like one of those super long, overdrawn breakups where you think you're getting back together, but are actually left in the dust. We've all been there.
So now that N.S. is trying to move on, what's up for the other stars on the hit show? We hear rumblings of a wedding, a divorce and a possible spinoff:
So does that mean we have to worry about other fave (or hated) characters biting the dust?
Maybe.
See, we hear that a spinoff is being "discussed" for a resident of Wisteria Lane. Some of the names being tossed around are Kathryn Joosten (who plays Mrs. McCluskey) and her sister on the show, Lily Tomlin. Snoop Sisters 2009, that kinda thing.
Or maybe the gay dudes get their own show where Miss California guest stars on the first episode and gets fried to death sitting under a hair dryer? Hot!
Yeah, we're sort of feelin' the spinoff idea, but we wouldn't be surprised if ABC went with the more traditional route of prissy Bree or cranky McCluskey for the spotlight. Who do you all think should get the new show?
