Tiger Woods Returning to Golf!

Tiger Woods Sam Greenwood/Getty Images

Well, that didn't take long.

Turns out Tiger Woods' "indefinite break" from golf will be just about five months, as the comeback-minded club swinger announced this morning that he plans to hit the links in Augusta for the Masters Tournament in April.

"The Masters is where I won my first major and I view this tournament with great respect," Woods said in a statement. "After a long and necessary time away from the game, I feel like I'm ready to start my season at Augusta."

Rozlyn Papa, Lucy B ABC/CRAIG SJODIN; Lexington Steele Productions, Inc.

From the With Friends Like This Department...

The latest person to come to Rozlyn Papa's defense in her sex-tape saga is none other than Mr. Lexington Steele.

The porn purveyor brags to tells E! News that he is the man in the video that has been making the Internet rounds and he can say without hesitation that Papa is not his costar.

"I feel for Rozlyn, because that is not her," says Steele. "The girl in the video is from the Czech Republic, all of the girls in this release were shot on location in Prague. That girl has never traveled to the United States of America."

Steele identifies the woman as one Lucy B. He adds that his cinematic tour de force, titled Pole Position Lex POV #1, was shot on June 6, 2004, and released by his company, Mercenary Pictures.

Andy Richter Slams NBC, Jay; Says Conan Tour is "Distinct Possibility"

Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player.

The prodigal sidekick has returned. And how.

For the first time since Conan O'Brien's Tonight Show departure, Andy Richter appeared on TV this morning, filling in for a vacationing Regis Philbin and breaking all manner of land-speed records in getting a few things off his chest.

"I actually can be on TV," he told Kelly Ripa right off the bat. "Conan can't—in fact, I'm not even sure I can say his name. I may be getting him in trouble for even saying his name."

If he can get in trouble for that, we hate to think what the fallout may be for the rest of his NBC and Jay Leno-bashing stint.

Playgirl Makes Bargain-Basement Bid for Jon's Gosselin

Jon Gosselin Brian Flannery/FlynetOnline.com

Who wouldn't want a piece of that? Oh, yeah. Them.

Just when you thought it was safe to once again pick up outdated, decidedly unsexy lady porn, Playgirl has put forth an offer of $20,000 to photograph Jon Gosselin's full monty.

Which, if the TMI-tweeting Hailey Glassman is to be believed, works out to around $10,000 per inch...

Snort This, John: Jessica Tells Oprah She's "Angry" Over Sex Talk

John Mayer, Jessica Simpson Lester Cohen/Getty Images

The thing John Mayer didn't realize about napalm, sexual or otherwise, is that it can explode at the least opportune time. Like in the middle of an interview with Oprah Winfrey, which is about the most inopportune moment you can get.

And that's exactly what appears to be in the works when the eminently snortable Jessica Simpson appears on the daytime doyenne's couch tomorrow under the auspices of talking about her new The Price of Beauty documentary.

But we know better. And so does Oprah, who didn't miss the chance to further grill Jessica on the World's Most Indiscreet Ex.

Remember Her? Sara Evans' Scandalous Marriage Still Making News

Sara Evans, Craig Schelske John Sciulli/Getty Images

Cast your minds back to 2006, when Paula Abdul was still on American Idol, Tiger Woods was still an appropriate role model, Karina Smirnoff was still dancing with stars and one of the biggest scandals of the year was country music star (and withdrawn DWTS contestant) Sara Evans' sordid divorce.

Ah, those were the days.

Well, thanks to Evans' recent decision to file for a temporary restraining order against her allegedly porn-loving ex, Craig Schelske, those days are here again.

Feud Alert! Lily Slams Courtney Love as "Paranoid, Drug-Addled Lunatic"

Courtney Love, Lily Allen Ian Gavan/Getty Images; Mike Marsland/Getty Images

Safe to say Lily Allen won't be catching any of those Courtney Love-fronted Hole reunion concerts.

Things are definitely heating up over on Twitter, with the ever-bloomin' English rose slamming Love for spreading rumors about some of Allen's alleged diva demands—demands Allen says are completely bogus. But don't call it a fight!

"I would never fight with her, as a rule I don't pick on crazy old ladies," Lily tweeted.

And to think, that's one of the tamer tweets...

Shaun White on Tiger Woods: "I'm Still a Big Fan"

More from Marc Malkin

Despite Tiger Woods' majorly messed-up life, Olympic gold champion Shaun White remains a fan of the golfing superstar.

"I don't think it takes away from his athletic side," our favorite ginger snowboarder told us earlier today during a conference call promoting the AT&T Team USA Soundtrack program benefiting Team USA. "I'm still a big fan of him. Pretty soon we will all realize that he's still a great guy deep down and he just made some bad calls."

White said he caught just "a little bit" of Wood's mea culpa press conference this morning...

Tiger's Mom "So Proud"...Really?

Tiger Woods, Kultida Woods AP Photo/Joe Skipper, Pool

At the end of his scripted statement today, a teary Tiger Woods made a point of immediately going over to his mom for a hug, and Kutilda Woods whispered something in his ear.

"I said 'I'm so proud of you. Never think you stand alone. Mom will always be there for you and I love you,' " Kutilda, who sported a noticeably pained expression on her face during the telecast, told reporters afterward.

At least she was talking. In Sweden, Elin Nordegren's parental units were far from forthcoming.

Elin's mom, Barbro Holmberg, who was by her daughter's side in the days following the Thanksgiving Day blow-up, declined to comment; her father, Thomas Nordegren, told reporters he watched Tiger's confessional, but had "nothing to say" right now.

Guess they're not as proud of their son-in-law, eh?

________

While we're still waiting for Elin's reaction, see what she's been up to recently in our Elin Nordegren: Life After Scandal gallery.

Tiger Talks: "Deeply Sorry for Irresponsibility and Selfish Behavior"

Tiger Woods, Elin Woods Timothy A. Clary/AFP/Getty Images

Tiger Woods has broken his silence.

Nearly three months after the car crash that turned his world upside down, the disgraced golfer spoke to friends, family, business associates and a (very) small pool of reporters at a carefully-controlled press address this morning.

The take-home message: He's "deeply sorry," working on his marriage, despite the notable absence of wife Elin Nordegren at his address, and, as of tomorrow, will begin his 46th day in in-treatment therapy.

"Many of you in this room are my friends," he said during the emotional speech. "Many in this room know me. Many of you have cheered for me, or you worked with me, or you supported me. Now, every one of you has good reason to be critical of me. I want to say to each of you simply and directly: I am deeply sorry for my irresponsibility and selfish behavior I engaged in."

Tiger Mistress Jamie Jungers: "That Apology Is Crap"

Tiger Woods, Jamie Jungers Jason Kempin/Getty Images, E! Networks

While one of Tiger Woods' alleged mistresses was holding a viewing party with reporters, another, Las Vegas cocktail waitress Jamie Jungers, sat down exclusively with E! News this morning to watch the golfer's speech.

Let's just say she's exactly happy with his script.

"That apology is crap," Jungers tells us. "He's making a sob story to make people sorry for him. I don't feel sorry for him. I’ve seen his face and his emotions when his father died and this was different. Just by his facial expressions...I'm not going to call him a liar but...he's playing that card."

And she didn't stop there...

So Exactly Why Was Feel-Good Contestant Chris Golightly Disqualified From American Idol?

It's just not American Idol without an early season, hastily explained, fan-disappointing disqualification of one of the contestants.

This year, heartstring-tugging crooner Chris Golightly fell victim to the Idol ax after seemingly making the cut as one of season nine's top 24 finalists. The curly haired Los Angeles auditioner even got his backstory told, telling viewers that he was bounced around more than 25 foster homes as a child.

The nation was pulling for the 25-year-old and, up until last night, it seemed to be working.
