New Sweet Home for Khloé and Lamar
Khloé Kardashian and Lamar Odom finally have a roost to call their own.
E! News confirmed Monday that the newlyweds have purchased a seven-bedroom home in Tarzana, Calif.—pretty close to Kris and Bruce Jenner's abode in Calabasas—for close to $4 million.
In addition to sleeping quarters for all of Khoé's siblings and a few Lakers, the Mediterranean-style manse has nine bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen, a gym, a theater, a pool and spa, an outdoor cooking space with two fridges and a barbecue pit, and a driveway that can fit around 15 cars.
We're just going to assume that high ceilings were a prerequisite.
Not bad for a first home as husband and wife—and they even got a deal! The price had recently been reduced by a million dollars due to the real estate-unfriendly economic climate.

Gisele Bündchen: Mom-to-Be, Badass Chopper Pilot
Can Gisele Bündchen be any hotter?
The pregnant supermodel is well on her way to getting a pilot's license to fly helicopters. She has already passed a written test and is logging time in the air with an instructor two to four times a week, E! News has learned.
"If you are comfortable and the doctor says it's OK, she can fly until the end of the pregnancy," says Keith Douglass, president of Shoreline Aviation in Marshfield, Mass. "Helicopters don't go very high or very far, so she is around."
Bündchen, 29, is expecting her first child with NFL stud Tom Brady, who Douglass saw once with his wife at the air field.
But while Bündchen needs nine months to become a mom, only 40 hours of airtime are required to become a chopper pilot.
"She needs to take the practical test with the examiner in the helicopter, basically a check ride," Douglass tells E!. "She's almost to that point."
And so far, he added, "She is terrific. She does a fantastic job."

Judge Says Michael Jackson's Kids Are "Doing Wonderfully"
All seems to be well at Grandma Jackson's house.
During a hearing Friday, the judge overseeing custody matters for Michael Jackson's three children declared the kids to be "really doing wonderfully with the grandmother as the guardian."
Katherine Jackson was granted permanent custody of Prince Michael, Paris and Prince Michael II (aka Blanket) in August. Debbie Rowe, biological mom of Paris and the other Prince, agreed to visitation rights after initially making it seem as if she was going to go after a more substantial role in their lives.
Attorneys for Jackson and Rowe were in court today.
"It was an excellent report," L.A. Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff said of the status report he received. "I am not inclined to set another date" on the guardianship matter.
Also today, Beckloff extended Jackson estate executors John McClane and John Branca's administrative powers until at least Jan. 4, 2010, which allows them to accept or reject creditors' claims against the estate.
Katherine has objected to Branca and McClane's status as administrators and another hearing is set for Nov. 10 to discuss whether there should be a trial.
We wonder if Michael Jackson's children know just how famous they already are. At least they're not alone in the spotlight—check out all these other Famous Families.
"Party" Over Before It Began For Real Housewives' Kim Zolciak
Kim Zolciak's a bit of a "Party" pooper, according to some.
"Tardy for the Party," the first single from the Real Housewives of Atlanta star's upcoming album, has been removed from iTunes because she supposedly hasn't yet paid the tune's producer for the time she spent in the studio.
"The song was number three on iTunes for the last four days, but since Don Vito owns the copyright to the song and he hasn't been paid, he requested that the song be taken down off iTunes," a source told E! News Monday.
Zolciak's rep had no comment and Vito, when contacted, only had nice things to say about the allegedly delinquent diva.
"I think [Kim] is a good person and it was fun working in the studio with her," he said. "We made a great record and I look forward to working with her on the album again."
Next time, presumably, he'll want a check in advance.

Maksim Admits Breaking Up Is Hard to Do
Maksim Chmerkovskiy doesn't seem to like it rough.
"It's a little rough right now," the Dancing With the Stars pro acknowledged this afternoon when E! News caught up with him outside 3rd Street Dance Studio in West Hollywood. We asked Maks how he's been doing since he and fellow hot-stepper Karina Smirnoff called off their engagement.
Questions about the permanence of the split and Maks and Karina's plans to dance at the 61st Annual Primetime Emmy Awards on Sept. 20 went unanswered—but his point came across.
It's hard to say what was the final straw for the too-cute couple, who as recently as last week were planning a June 2010 wedding.
We know that breaking up is about as fun as teaching Tom DeLay how to quickstep. But at least Maks has Madonna's kind words to comfort him in these hard times.

Britney Peeper Guilty of Peekaboo-boo
Miranda Tozier-Robbins should've just bought a ticket for the Circus.
The woman who was arrested in April outside Britney Spears' Calabasas home after security guards caught her peering into a ground-floor window was cleared of trespassing Thursday but found guilty of misdemeanor peeking.
For real! We didn't know that existed, either!
Tozier-Robbins told E! News at the time that there was "no obsession with Britney"; rather, she had been practicing documentary filmmaking, paparazzi-style (which, to her apparently, meant in an invasive and illegal manner).
For peeking, the 26-year-old has been sentenced to three years' probation, fined $100 plus penalties and ordered to continuing staying at least 100 yards away from Spears, her kids and her residence, as per the terms of a previous restraining order. Tozier-Robbins must also perform 240 hours of community service.
We're thinking window-washing might be in order.

Jacksons Looking to Make a Federal Case Out of Michael's Death?
Could there be any more acronyms involved in the Michael Jackson investigation?
E! News has learned that the pop icon's family has reached out to a longtime friend—who also happens to be a California congresswoman—for help in bringing the FBI into the investigatory mix.
According to a source close to the family, Joe, Randy and La Toya Jackson and their pal Leonard Rowe met Wednesday with Rep. Diane Watson to entreat her to pull some strings.
And Watson was apparently moved enough to contact the FBI, and federal agents have agreed to meet with the Jacksons.
"[Watson] is assisting the Jacksons to get the FBI to help the investigation and make sure the law enforcement people stay on top of it," the source said. This would be a "separate investigation" to further probe the family's theory that foul play was involved.
Rihanna Could Do With a Little More Chris Brown in Her Life
Does Rihanna want her face-time with Chris Brown to be a little less coincidental?
The pop star's attorney tells E! News that his client is looking to do away with the order of protection that's been in place since Brown copped to beating on Rihanna in February, which requires the "Run It" singer to stay at least 50 yards away from his ex-girlfriend.
The court allowed some leeway in case the duo were both in attendance at a music industry event, meaning Brown wouldn't be hauled off to the clink if he and Rihanna happened to rub elbows at the Grammys.
But whether she wanted this all along or was moved by Brown's videotaped mea culpa (and the promise of yet another apology on Larry King Live Wednesday night), Rihanna, who declined the court's offer of a restraining order back in March, feels that a level-one protection order will be sufficient from now on.
Which, basically, constitutes a handful of stipulations that you would want anyone to abide by.
Would-Be Baby Mama Wants Jackson's Kids, Estate
She's ba-ack.
A woman who claims to be Michael Jackson's ex-wife is arguing that the late King of Pop's "properties, monies and assets must be transferred to [her] immediately."
That, and she should get physical and legal custody of all three of Jackson's children because she is their biological mother—a claim she repeatedly pressed in 2006 and 2007 in several failed attempts at getting custody and financial support.
Per documents filed Wednesday in Los Angeles Superiro Court, Nona Paris Lola Jackson also is demanding that Jackson's body, which a source told us is currently in cold storage at L.A. cemetery Forest Lawn awaiting interment, be returned to the coroner's office.
After which she should be flown to Los Angeles and put in charge of future negotiations with AEG Live regarding any upcoming tribute concerts or other business ventures.
Club Owner Suing Mad at No-Show Beyoncé
They didn't put a ring on it, so maybe Beyoncé didn't realize she was so wanted.
Joe Morrissey, owner of M2 Ultralounge in Manhattan, tells E! News he's planning to take legal action against the pop-R&B star for skipping out on a scheduled party appearance.
"The concert ads were on [Beyoncé's] website, our website, we had tons of people calling and coming down and we spent a lot of money setting this whole thing up," said Morrissey, who says he spent about $100,000 and put his reputation on the line in anticipation of the event, which was to celebrate the start of the North American leg of the singer's I Am... world tour.
Morrissey says that he contracted with an outside promoter and Beyoncé's manager-dad, Matthew Knowles, to have her appear tomorrow night along with sister Solange Knowles, who was supposed to sing.
Kelly Monaco's Alleged Burglar Heading to Trial
The man who allegedly burgled Kelly Monaco's hotel room has not been robbed of his day in court.
A Las Vegas judge determined Tuesday that there was enough evidence against suspect Merrill Wetter, accused of breaking into the General Hospital star's penthouse suite at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino last month, to send the case to trial.
“He will be arraigned and enter a plea in district court on May 20,” says Michael Sommermeyer, the court information officer for Clark County.
Wetter initially pleaded not guilty April 28 to charges of burglary, home invasion, trespassing and defrauding an innkeeper (rather quaint-sounding, that last one).
There is solid evidence against the defendant, a police spokesman tells E! News.
"Wetter was arrested after being identified by an eyewitness and being identified on video footage from the hotel," he says.
Daisy De La Hoya Tired, Not Treated for Overdose
Daisy De La Hoya isn't down for the count.
The Daisy of Love temptress was not rushed to the hospital for a drug overdose, as some outlets reported earlier today, her rep assures E! News. Rather, the Rock of Love 2 runner-up just needed some R&R, ASAP.
TMZ had it that paramedics responded to a 911 call about a "possible overdose" this morning and, according to sources, De La Hoya was acting "crazy" when they got there and made it very difficult for them to get her into the ambulance.
"Daisy was taken to the ER early this morning suffering from delerium as a result of exaustion," rep Cassandra Grill says. "There was no overdose. She is fine this evening and resting comfortably."
Meanwhile, De La Hoya still has 12 dudes to weed through on the debut season of her VH1 dating show. We can't wait to see what 12 Pack and Big Rig do next!
