Alexis Neiers has been hoping to hit the big time—provided she can avoid the big house.
The aspiring E! reality star and a suspect in the allegedly celebrity bling ring that targeted Hollywood homes belonging to Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Audrina Partridge, Ashley Tisdale and Rachel Bilson pleaded not guilty Monday to felony burglary, specifically for her purported role in a heist at Orlando Bloom's residence.
The 18-year-old, dressed in a pink sweater and tweed skirt, didn't need a star map to find her arraignment this morning. She turned up, camera crew in tow for the reality show pilot she's been filming with sister, former Playmate Tess Taylor.
Neiers' attorney, Jeffrey Rubenstein, entered the innocent plea on her behalf, and the judge ordered her to return to court for a preliminary hearing set for Nov. 30. She's free on $50,000 bond.
Quaids Skip Court, Stay Kooky in Texas
OK, now the Quaids are really in trouble.
The inimitable Randy and Evi Quaid again opted to not appear before a Santa Barbara judge today to face charges stemming from their resort-and-dash case.
Prosecutors confirm to E! News that the third time was indeed the charm, and the couple will probably be arrested.
"The case was taken off calendar and will not be re-calendared unless the Quaids are personally present or they have been arrested and a bond posted," Santa Barbara District Attorney's Office spokesman Lee Carter said.
Extradition proceedings got underway on Monday, when the Quaids were also a no-show.
Too busy shaking up local government to stray from the homefront, apparently...

It's a blockbuster potentially starring Lindsay Lohan, Audrina Patridge, Paris Hilton, Orlando Bloom and Rachel Bilson. Too bad it will be playing out in the L.A. courthouse instead of a movie house.
Los Angeles police tell E! News that they have shut down a burglary ring that allegedly targeted several young Hollywood stars, stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of jewelry and clothes.
A spokeswoman for the Los Angeles Police Department says that 19-year-old Diana Tamayo, 18-year-old Alexis Neirs, 18-year-old Courtney Ames and a man named Roy Lopez were taken into custody Thursday as part of a sting operation.
No charges have been filed yet, but the foursome is expected to be tagged with felony burglary charges. Ames and Neirs were released on $50,000 bond. (As of this writing, Lopez and Tamayo were still jailed.)
Another woman, 19-year-old Rachel J. Lee, was arrested in Clark County, Nev., on charges of possession of stolen property and voluntarily surrendered in the Lohan/Patridge case. Bond was set at $3,000.

Hope you've eaten lunch, because if you haven't you might lose your appetite.
Yes, we have more details from the Anna Nicole Smith drug-peddling case.
Florida-based medical examiner Dr. Harold Schueler told the court today that the former Playmate was seriously ill in the days before her death, suffering from a abscess on her buttock from injections of drugs. The condition may have contributed to her drug-fueled death on Feb. 8, 2007.
"[Infections] would have had an impact on her ability to withstand the drugs," the doctor said, reducing her tolerance to sedatives and muscle relaxers she had been taking for pain, anxiety and insomnia. "Her respiratory system could also have been compromised."
In other words, it wasn't just a minor booboo.
Meanwhile, former bodyguard Mo Brighthaupt testifed that he saw Smith sidekick/defendant Howard K. Stern injecting her with medication on at least five occasions after the death of her son, Daniel.
Still waiting in the wings to take the stand: Smith's baby-daddy, Larry Birkhead.
Police Stumble Upon Ryan Jenkins' Suicide Note
Ryan Jenkins didn't exactly confess to the killing his swimsuit-model wife, Jasmine Fiore, but authorities may have finally found the motive in a case that shocked the reality TV world.
Police in Buena Park, Calif., tell E! News that investigators have discovered a last will and testament written by the Megan Wants a Millionaire star three days before he committed suicide last August after going on the lam for allegedly murdering his missus. Fiore's body was found mutilated and stuffed in a suitcase in a Buena Park dumpster on Aug. 15.
The letter, which detectives deemed a suicide note, was buried on a copy of the hard drive. In it, the 32-year-old's Jenkins professed his deep love and affection for Fiore and called her beautiful. But the missive also laid bare the deep mistrust he had about her relationships with other men.
"I would describe it as a love-hate letter and then some apology to his family," Buena Park P.D. Sgt. William Kohanek tells E! News.
Joe Francis's Booby Prize? No Jail!
Joe Francis is still waiting to learn whether he's going to face any charges in that bar brawl with Brody Jenner. But he got some good news elsewhere: He's not going to prison on federal tax-dodging charges.
The Girls Gone Wild mastermind has agreed to cop a plea to filing false IRS returns to end to the tax fraud case that had been hounding him for the past two years and landed him in jail for nearly a year.
The 36-year-old Francis will make things official when he appears in Los Angeles federal court at 2 p.m., E! News has learned.
He'll plead guilty to two counts of tax evasion and one count of bribing Nevada jailhouse officials with $5,000 worth of goods in a bid to get food. In return, Francis will receive credit for 301 days served in a Nevada slammer and must pay $250,000 in restitution.
Not bad for a guy who was originally charged with owing $20 million and facing up to 10 years in federal prison.

Hasselhoff: Bad Drux Reaction, Not Bad Boozing
David Hasselhoff did not—repeat—did not fall off the wagon.
That's the word from Team Hoff today, hours after the ex-Baywatcher was rushed by ambulance to a hospital.
A rep for Hasselhoff tells E! News that the 57-year-old actor was briefly hospitalized Sunday afternoon after a bout of dizziness due to the combination of prescription medication. Specifically, Hasselhoff "felt his equilibrium was off" after taking the anti-nauseau drug Antivert and Antabuse, a medication for recovering alcoholics.
The America's Got Talent arbiter could not reach his personal doctor, the rep said, so paramedics were called to his suburban Los Angeles home. No word on his current condition.
This isn't the first time the former Knight Rider star has had to outrun allegations of alcohol abuse.
D.A. to Decide Whether Tila Tequila Told Truth
In Margaritaville, some people claim there's a woman to blame, but in San Diego, Tila Tequila says it's Shawne Merriman's damn fault.
Now it's up to the D.A. to sort out the whole sordid mess.
The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department has handed off its evidence in the he-said, she-said case between the 27-year-old Shot at Love babe and the 25-year-old star NFL linebacker, and now it's up to prosecutors to determine whether to press charges.
Even though a tentative court date has been set, D.A. spokesman Steve Walker tells E! News, “We don’t really have a timeline."
Meanwhile, Walker would not confirm a report that Tequila (aka Tila Nguyen) would be questioned by investigators today. She claims she was beaten up by Merriman and held against her will. Merriman says he was merely being a gentleman and refusing to let an intoxicated Tequila drive her car after a night of partying.
The D.A. has the power to file or reject charges against Merriman for the two felonies Tequila charged him with over the weekend: battery and false imprisonment.

Oops, Chris Brown Won't Beat It to Jackson Tribute
Chris Brown won't be crooning "I'll Be There" in honor of Michael Jackson.
The "Forever" singer has put a kibosh on any plans to perform at the M.J. tribute concert in Vienna, hours after Jermaine Jackson announced Brown would be among the headliners at the Sept. 26 show.
"Chris is not confirmed to perform or participate in any capacity for this show," Brown's label publicist tells E! News.
While we expect Brown to commence his comeback after racking up five years' probation for beating Rihanna.html">Rihanna, we were surprised to hear his name listed with Mary J. Blige, Akon, Natalie Cole, and Sister Sledge for the event. He would need court approval to head overseas and get a break from his 180 hours of community labor. Brown, 20, attended Jackson's funeral and has cited the King of Pop as a major influence.
There was no immediate comment from organizers of the Jackson tribute, but Jermaine's definitely got some 'splaining to do.

Miley Cyrus Menaced?
Team Miley is on high alert.
Disney security officers have warned the Los Angeles Police Department to be on the lookout for a man who was arrested in Georgia last month for allegedly trying to contact Miley Cyrus during a film shoot.
LAPD spokesman Richard French tells E! News that L.A.'s Finest received a tip giving them a heads up about one Mark McCleod, who was taken into custody June 23 after trespassing on the Tybee Island set of The Last Song, the Nicholas Sparks-based Mouse House movie starring Cyrus, Kelly Preston and Greg Kinnear.
After being tipped off, French said the LAPD reached out to Tybee Island Police and requested a copy of the arrest report to keep on file "in the event that at some future point [McCleod] would come to L.A., where Miley lives, and attempt to make contact with her."
