Joe Jackson Demands a Piece of Michael
Look who's coming around after all.
Joe Jackson, who previously said that he spends most of his time in Las Vegas and that his estranged wife, Katherine, would handle the raising of Michael Jackson's children, is now petitioning the estate for his own monthly stipend.
Saying he has no steady source of income aside from $1,700 a month from Social Security, Jackson stated in court documents that he had relied on his son for support up until the King of Pop's death. Michael gave money to his mom, which she in turn, acting as an agreed-upon go-between, gave to Joe.
Michael did not provide for Joe in his will, rather splitting his estate among his mother, children and various charities.
But that doesn't mean the King of Pop's estate is legally prohibited from providing for Joe, his lawyers insist.
K.Stew's So Over Gossip: "It Doesn't Bother Me"
Attention all Robsten tongue-waggers: Gossip away! Kristen Stewart is over it! Totally and completely over it!
Much hay has been made in recent days about K.Stew's tumultuous relationship with the tabloids and her fierce words for gossips.
But at a press conference today in Los Angeles promoting The Twilight Saga: New Moon, Stewart indicated she'd finally found a way to cope.
"The whole rumor, tabloid stuff, it's so obviously false," she said, holding forth solo before a press mob, enthused and energetic and seemingly very happy about the whole thing.
"I became a part of a show, a ridiculous show, with false realism, like a soap opera, but it doesn't bother me. I don't take it personally, because I have gotten so much experience with this, it's gotten easier."
In fact, K.Stew now insists she gets it, how fans can get carried away, too.
"I totally understand that people have a hard time seeing us outside of our characters," she said, admitting she's very also very attached to hers, the lovestruck Bella Swan.
"I'm very protective of her. I feel a shared ownership, its weird," she said. "Maybe I am an immature girl as well; I really feel like if you think you need to do it, you need to do it, and 'it' can be anything. Be extreme. Go for it. I know this is a movie about immortality and mortality, but you only live once."

And while she's giving him gifts on his big day, she's also taking something from him, too...
Fashion Face-Off: Katy Perry vs. Blake Lively
You wouldn't think Katy Perry and Blake Lively would have similar styles, but go figure: Both babes recently donned versions of the same lacy, floral print dress.
Blake wore it first, to the NYC premiere of Where the Wild Things Are. Perhaps taking the movie's title a bit too literally, she settled on a feathered version of the frock.
The Gossip Girl star showed lots of leg and left her blond locks loose and wavy to complete the look.
Katy, however, chose a long, elegant version for her hosting duties at the MTV Europe Awards last night...

Taylor Swift Owes Kanye West a Thank-You!
Hey, we've got an opening monologue for Taylor Swift.
"Hi, I'm Taylor Swift, as you know," the teen titan could start off with on tomorrow's Saturday Night Live. "And I'd like to thank Kanye West for helping you know that."
OK, so the lines aren't funny. But they are true.
The SNL gig—as host and musical guest? The honor of being the first female country performer to pull that desirable double duty since Dolly Parton more than 20 years ago? The album that's been out forever and is back climbing the charts?
Yup, somebody owes Mr. West a muffin basket.

The Hollywood Burglary Bunch apparently has no problems eating its own.
As we previously reported, investigators believe that the ringmaster was one Rachel Lee, and now search warrants obtained Friday by E! News offer yet more details into the case against her.
Lee was seemingly sold out by her alleged partner-in-crime, Nicholas Prugo, who is quoted in the documents saying she orchestrated hits on such stars as Orlando Bloom, Audrina Patridge and Brian Austin Green.
Prugo told detectives that Lee chose their celebrity targets, while he would gather information and pictures on the Internet. He also told investigators she was primarily after the designer wardrobes of celebs she “admired.”
Prugo also gave investigators detailed desriptions of their methods and loot. For example, he said that he and Lee bagged between $200,000 and $300,00 of Chanel loot from Rachel Bilson’s home and entered Paris Hilton’s home three teams, taking cash, narcotics and personal effects.
Prugo said he was nervous about commiting the last burglary, at Lindsay Lohan's home, because they had already been captured on surveillance footage.
“You’re already here,” she allegedly told Prugo. “You might as well come inside and get something for yourself.”
LMAO! Jessica Alba Is a Funny Friggin' Focker
Just because Jessica Alba isn't the most smiley, happy-go-lucky starlet in Hollywood that doesn't mean she's not a load of fun.
Teri Polo, one of Alba's costars in the upcoming Little Fockers, insists Ms. Alba loves a good laugh…
"She loves to be funny," Polo told us at last night's BAFTA/LA Britannia Awards. "I also think she's a very shy person who perhaps people perceive as a certain way…We get along just great."
So why does she get a rap for being a sourpuss? Polo explained...

La Toya's Cut Brüno Scene Surfaces, Makes Glorious Benefit of DVD
Comedy is all about timing. Unfortunately, Brüno's stank.
Days after Michael Jackson's June 25 death—just two weeks before Sacha Baron Cohen's raunchfest was set to premiere—filmmakers scrambled to remove a scene that could have been deemed distasteful, even by their standards. The flamboyant Austrian fashion plate lured La Toya Jackson to a Hollywood home, sat her on a Mexican laborer, made her eat sushi off the nude body of another, Shanghai'd her BlackBerry and read out Michael's number, all after asking her to impersonate him.
But what a difference four months makes.
Now, like Edward and Bella or Suri Cruise and seasonally inappropriate garb, Brüno and La Toya are once again back together, with the cut scene restored for the film's forthcoming home video release. But not before resurfacing exclusively right here!
Though if it all seems a little familiar, there's a good reason for that...

Usher Can Say "Yeah!" to the Single Life
The paper trail may have been long, but at least they're all signed.
Usher and Tameka Foster finalized their divorce on Wednesday.
The star first made his confessions filed for divorce in June, citing "irreconcilable differences," and declaring they had lived apart for nearly a year and that the marriage was "irretrievably broken."
The 31-year-old star married the stylist in August 2007, and their son, Usher Raymond V, was born a few months later. Their second son, Naviyd Ely Raymond, arrived in December 2008.
Usher filed for joint custody, but the arrangements have not been made public.

Jackson Family Reality Series Debuting in December
Shove over, Jon & Kate. Here come Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and Randy.
The brothers Jackson are finally getting ready for their closeup with A&E officially unveiling the debut date for the family's long-in-the-works reality series.
Filming on the series, focusing on the siblings and their respective families, actually began nearly a year ago. The project was shelved after Michael scuttled a proposed Jacksons reunion concert, but got renewed interest after his shocking death in June.
Producers scrambled to retool the series to include the family's reactions to Michael's passing. There has been conflicting signals from A&E about whether the show will include video of Michael's three children, superstar sister Janet or family matriarch Katherine.
The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty will premiere on Dec. 13 with back-to-back hourlong installments and ultimately run a total of six episodes.
