The end is (kinda) near for the mega-hit Twilight movie franchise, and Ashley Greene already has her sights set on post-vampire roles.

The on-screen Alice Cullen says she wants to go older, and get some action.

"If you could find a strong female role in an action film, that is one of the most sought-after parts for women," she told me at the CFDA Awards at Lincoln Center. "You know, I played 17 first for the past four years and it's kind of time for me to change over."

As for what spoilers she can divulge to rabid fans who finally got to see the Breaking Dawn trailer...

Ashley says you got to see it before she did, and that the studio has the cast on total lockdown about spilling any details.

"I haven't even seen the trailer," she confessed. "I was in my friend's wedding this weekend...so I was kind of doing bridesmaids duty and that whole thing. But other than that, I can't tell you anything."

Even though the movies are wrapping up, she expects the cast to be tight.

"I think we honestly all get to hang out more now that we aren't working then we did when we were filming. So as long as it stays that way I don't think it'll be too bad," she said, adding that reality hasn't sunk in that they've wrapped the final flick.

"I'm not really dealing with the end of it yet because I feel like it won't really be over for another two years because the films coming out and then the press tours and stuff."

Up next for the busy babe, who also shot LOL with Miley Cyrus and Butter with Jennifer Garner recently?

She's trying to aim for some quality time with her family.

"I'm going to go and try to get away with my parents," she said of her summer plans.

And this time, she won't have that pesky Joe Jonas tagging along, we presume.
