Justin Bieber Bails; Miley's Man Calls Her "Beautiful"

Teen singing sensation cancels his appearance last minute, but plenty of other young hotties are in the house at Young Hollywood Awards, including Liam Hemsworth and the Jonas Brothers

Is Justin Bieber scared to face Miley Cyrus' man, Liam Hemsworth, after taking her to sushi and Pinkberry earlier this week?

Probably not, but he did suddenly cancel his appearance at HollywoodLife's Young Hollywood Awards last night, disappointing tons of teenage girls along with presenter Ben Stiller, who mentioned "Bieber's luscious locks."

The real reason the Biebs didn't show? His video shoot for Somebody to Love went too long, so he sent a video acceptance speech in lieu of his scheduled appearance.

Luckily, Liam Hemsworth still brought the hotness and gave Miley a shout-out in front of her ex Nick Jonas...

While accepting his Young Hollywood Breakthrough award, Liam said he'd like to thank "my beautiful girlfriend."

Miley wasn't in attendance at the Ebell Theatre, but we're sure she appreciated the sweet shout-out nonetheless.

As for her ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas? He brought along his brothers Joe and Kevin as he scored the Best Artist of the Year award.

Just yesterday, the boys told E! News that two of them would be bringing girls on their tour bus this summer: wifey Danielle is accompanying Kevin, while Demi Lovato is joining Joe.

So what lovely lady will Nick take on tour?

"I'm taking my dog, probably," he told me. Lucky pup! As for what he's looking for in a girl, he said "honesty" is the most important thing.
