Rihanna Sings Threesome, Avoids Going Naked on GMA
Rihanna almost brought a little too much to her TV concert comeback on Good Morning America.
Two day after performing solo at the American Music Awards, Rihanna made her much-anticipated way to the morning show's outdoor stage in NYC this morning to sing a whopping three tunes: "Wait Your Turn," "Russian Roulette," and fan (and remix) favorite "Umbrella."
But what about that slight lag between new besties Diane Sawyer and Robin Roberts announcing Rihanna and the singer's appearance on the stage?
Two words: wardrobe malfunction.
"I'm a little too fat right now, my dress…the zip busted in the back," the svelte-as-always Rihanna explained. "They're like, 'A minute to live,' I'm like, oh my god! They wanted to stitch it up, but I couldn't."
But it wasn't all body talk. After performing her new single, "Wait Your Turn," the superstar paid her now usual lip service to the oh-so-perfect timing of her new album, Rated R.
"It came very natural, only because it was my place of peace, being in the studio, just venting," she said of the post-Chris Brown attack process of recording the album.
"It was the one place where I didn't feel judged or criticized, I just wanted to sit and make great music. Every emotion that I was going through at the time throughout making the record went into that album and you can hear it in the songs."
The album, a surefire No. 1 if ever there was one, was released yesterday.

Justin Bieber Breaks His Foot and Lives to Tweet About It
At age 15, Justin Bieber is so young his mom probably still kisses his boo-boos to make them feel better.
She might need to get to work—the pop star-in-training broke his foot yesterday.
The Usher protégé had the distinguished honor of opening for Taylor Swift at England's Wembley Arena, but something went awry as he finished up his set with his hit single, "One Time."
No, Kanye West didn't interrupt. Justin stumbled. And, like any good celebrity on the rise, he Twittered about the whole thing.
Bruce Springsteen Greets Ohio...in Michigan
Wanna get away Bruce Springsteen?
"The Boss" might have felt like hopping on a Southwest flight or his tour bus after he shouted "Hello Ohio!"…to a crowd in Michigan.
The 60–year-old "Wrecking Ball" crooner wrecked his chances of playing off the blunder after he referenced Ohio three separate times at the Palace of Auburn Hills Friday night during his "Working on a Dream" tour.
That was until E Street Band guitarist Steve Van Zandt stepped in and saved him.
"I just grabbed him and said, 'you don't realize it, but you're saying Ohio and we're in Michigan.' He said 'What?!?," Zandt told Rolling Stone. "In his mind he knew he was in Detroit, but somehow Detroit wound up in Ohio for a minute."
The Boss probably felt like he was "Born to Run" at that point, but the city-swapping star stayed put and treated the forgiving fans to an energetic three-hour concert.
Britney Spears Opens Her Mouth About Aussie Lip-Synching Debacle
Why are Australian newspapers trying to rain on Britney Spears' parade circus?
Last weekend, Oz's Daily Telegraph published a story about the pop tart's recent concerts, accusing her of lip-synching, claiming fans were unhappy and calling her boring.
The show's promoter said the star was aware of the reviews and "extremely upset by it." Now, all these days later, she's "upset" enough to release an official comment.
"I hear there is a lot of controversy in the media about my show," she said in a statement in the Agence France Presse. "Some reporters have said they love it and some don't. I came to Australia for my fans!"
Those priorities sound right on point, except for the fact that her lip service neglects to address the actual issue at hand, the lip-synching.

Sweet Emotion! Steven Tyler Still in Aerosmith
The Toxic Twins have made up.
Just a day after guitarist Joe Perry announced via Twitter that Aerosmith would soldier on with a new lead singer amid speculation Steven Tyler had quit the band to focus on a solo career, the duo made a surprise appearance onstage at the Fillmore in New York and announced that all was well and he was back in the saddle.
"I just want New York to know I'm not leaving Aerosmith and Joe Perry, you are a man of many colors, but I motherf----- am a rainbow!," Tyler told the crowd at the conclusion of the set by the guitarist's side band, the Joe Perry Project. They then launched into the Aerosmith classic "Walk This Way."
Well that was fast.
Morrissey Back on His Feet and Cracking Jokes After Fainting Spell
People, it was really nothing.
After breathing problems forced Morrissey to cancel two shows, the former Smiths frontman resumed his U.K. tour Tuesday night at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
Morrissey, 50, fell to his knees Saturday after finishing the first song of his set in the city of Swindon and had to be carried offstage by two of his band members.
The Maladjusted crooner was hospitalized overnight for observation. On the advice of his doctors, he scrapped a gig Monday in Bournemouth so he could get some rest.
But back on his feet last night, Morrissey made light of his ailment, pretending to faint at one point before jumping back up and shouting, "Thank you, Swindon!" per the BBC.
"The doctor said I shouldn't smile. I told him, 'I don't,' " cracked the usually somber hitmaker.
Bruce Springsteen Cancels Show Due to Death in the Family
There's the family we were born with and the family we find along the way. Bruce Springsteen has both.
And tonight, his show with the E Street Band in Kansas City, Mo., was "unavoidably cancelled" following a death in Springsteen's "immediate family," according to a statement on the rocker's website.
No further details were available, but local police told the K.C. Star that they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death this afternoon of a member of Springsteen's road crew.
Chris Brown Picks Hell of a Day to Announce New Tour
So, we're checking out the new Rihanna single and... Wait, what? Chris Brown's going on tour? Say, that is news!
Just hours after his ex released her first solo single since being assaulted by Brown in February, Brown announced plans for a Fan Appreciation Tour to—just as it sounds—thank the folks who have stood by him in the wake of his arrest and subsequent guilty plea.
The month-long jaunt kicks off Nov. 14 at the House of Blues in Houston and will touch down in similar capacity venues in 19 cities across the country, including Los Angeles, Chicago and Boston.
Small theaters were chosen to encourage a "fans only" atmosphere, according to tour organizers.
Beyoncé Bails on Malaysia Gig
Seems like Sasha Fierce isn't putting up much of a fight.
Beyoncé has called off a planned concert for culturally sensitive Malaysia after facing some pretty fierce objections from Islamic critics upset over her sexy stage outfits and dance routines.
The R&B songstress was due to perform Oct. 25 at the National Stadium Bukit Jalil in Kuala Lumpur, but according to a statement released by Malaysia-based promoter Marctensia, the performance "has been postponed to a future date to be announced shortly."
"The postponement is soley [the] decision of the artist and has nothing to do with other external reasons," the company added.
Best to let it blow over, B.
Kanye? Lady Gaga Don't Need No Stinkin' Kanye
This just in from the Who Didn't See That One Coming file: Lady Gaga's tour plans are continuing apace.
A day after the "Poker Face" singer and Kanye West called off their ill-timed Fame Kills joint tour, her ladyship confirmed that she would still be hitting the road sans a certain stage-jacking rapper.
"Still leaving on solo TOUR this nov.," she tweeted today. "Announcing next week. leaked next single is makin my ears bleed. Wait till you hear the real version ;)"
And while the closest thing to a party line this morning—coming courtesy of Gaga's longtime choreographer Lori Ann Gibson—was that the tour was canceled over "creative differences," the star had another equally P.C. answer ready to dish out today.
"It was a mutual decision," she said before picking up her Billboard Rising Star Award. "Kanye's going to take some time off. But the good news is that I'm going on tour in a few weeks."
Good news for one of them, that is.

Beyoncé Ready to Cover Up Her Bootylicious Self?
Yo, Osaka. We're really happy for you, but Kuala Lumpur has one of the best Beyoncé-worthy venues of all time...
We could only hope that's it went down when the Bootylicious One agreed to bring her world tour to Malyasia next month, two years after scrapping a concert there due to anger by Islamic activists over her gyrating stage antics and titillating costumes.
Her website confirmed a stadium gig in the capital city on Oct. 25.
"Beyoncé for the first time ever has decided to make Malaysia part of her 'I Am' World Tour," a Knowles-sanctioned statement reads.
Malaysia's Islamic opposition party has already begun mumruring about a protest. The nation traditionally forced foreign performers to adhere to a strict dress code and code of conduct that includes no jumping shouting, hugging or kissing onstage.
Beyoncé isn't the only artist to run into trouble in Malaysia. Similar complaints have surfaced there in recent years about cleavage-baring performances by the likes of Gwen Stefani, the Pussycat Dolls and Avril Lavigne.
Elton John Looks to Adopt a Tiny Dancer of His Own
Decorated music man Elton John might be expanding his brood.
The "Your Song" singer visited Ukraine with his AIDS Foundation on Saturday and found himself taken by a 14-month old boy who lost his parents to the disease.
"David [Furnish] always wanted to adopt a child and I always said no because I am 62 and I think because of the traveling I do and the life I have...wouldn't be fair for the child," John said of his longtime parnter, who was along for the trip.
So why now? "Having seen Lev today, I would love to adopt him. I don't know how we do that but he has stolen my heart. And he has stolen David's heart and it would be wonderful if we can have a home. I've changed my mind today," John lovingly exclaimed.
This new outlook can also be attributed to the recent loss of John's close friend and keyboardist, Guy Babylon.
"It broke my heart because he was such a genius and so young and has two wonderful children," continued the showman. "What better opportunity to replace someone I lost than to replace him with someone I can give a future to."
