Pretty soon we will learn whether Lisa Kudrow is more than a Friend.

The star is returning to her NBC roots to learn more about her own roots, adapting the BBC's unlikely hit genealogical documentary series Who Do You Think You Are? for the Peacock.

Kudrow will be the first celeb to track down various branches of her family tree. Others joining the quest for genealogic answers will be Sarah Jessica Parker and Susan Sarandon.

"The most striking thing about the show is the realization of how connected we all are," says Kudrow (presumably speaking in the metaphorical, not the SJP-and-I-are-cousins, sense).

The British original is in its sixth season and has probed the origins of Stephen Fry, Jerry Springer, Nigella Lawson and Jeremy Irons. Some surprising historic connections have been revealed, with stars discovering family ties ranging from royalty to Holocaust victims.

The U.S. version premieres on NBC April 20.
