Janet Jackson is under the control of a doctor.
After she "got suddenly ill during the sound check" for her concert in Montreal Monday, the singer was rushed to a local hospital, according to W&W Public Relations.
Jackson, 42, is being monitored at the hospital and hopes to reschedule the show.
No further information has been released.
Last Friday, Jackson canceled the weekend Detroit stop of her Rock Witchu road show due to "production constraints."
