Now this is a situation!

E! News confirms that chief Jersey Shore guido Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino has been slapped with a $1 million lawsuit by his former managers.

What gives?!

Gotham NYC Entertainment filed the suit today, because Sitch said farewell to the team back in May saying they had a "lack of performance."

Of course, Gotham disagrees that they lacked performance, but even if they did, according to the lawsuit, Sorrentino is obligated to give them a 30-day notice to fix the problem before nixing 'em, which they claim means he now breached contract.

The company, who was with the reality star when his fame barely started in 2009, say they transformed "his career from relative obscurity to become an international celebrity," according to TMZ.

Sorrentino's camp denies these allegations, saying in a statement that this "suit is filled with lies and falsities that will be proven false in court."

So could the change in management mean Seaside Heights will be losing about eight abs?

Rumors that Sorrentino will be leaving the reality series surfaced this week, just days after castmate Vinny Guadagnino was reported to leave the Shore house.

MTV has declined to confirm that either guido has actually left the show (nothing like a little drama to pump up the ratings, right?) and it seems unlikely that given their fat new contracts, either will be gone for good. In fact, The Situation is still partying in Seaside last we heard and still filming the show's fifth season.

Fist pump!
