It didn't take long for Cheryl Cole to lose two TV gigs.

Less than a week after she was forced out of the American version of The X Factor, it was revealed that the British starlet won't be returning as a judge on the U.K. version of the show, either.

When Simon Cowell announced the lineup of new judges for the next season of his hit Brit show, Cole's name was not on the list. So what gives?

Just like before, no one knows for sure. There are rumors that the drama between Cowell and Cole after she was dropped from this side of the pond's X Factor was too intense to bring her back to the original series. Though equally, there are just as many reports claiming that the decision not to return was all Cole, as she apparently failed to return calls or enter into negotiations with her former boss before the show's deadline.

Either way, the judges table for the U.K. X Factor announced today was sans Cole (and, of course, Cowell, whose attentions will be turned solely to the U.S. version from now on), and it includes Destiny's Child singer Kelly Rowland, Take That singer-songwriter Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh and N-Dubz member Tulisa Contostavious.

As for Cole, the British pop star was reportedly ousted from The X Factor in the middle of the audition process because she wasn't meshing very well with Paula Abdul, and there were apparently some concerns about Cole's thick accent. Former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger is filling in on the judging panel in place of Cole.
