Another new Lady Gaga song, another hot jam to dance to on Saturday night.
But is that what we were hoping for from the monster madam, just another tune to tap our feet to? Because that sure seems to be what she's giving us lately, from "Born This Way," "Judas" and "The Edge of Glory" to her newest iTunes single, "Hair," another dance-party anthem about the importance of being ourselves.
Not that all of them haven't been catchy and great for running on the treadmill , but..."I'll die living just as free as my hair"? Really?
Oh well, maybe we're just waiting for the next "Bad Romance" to sweep us off our feet. Or the next "Speechless" to make us cry. Or even the next "Just Dance" to really make us want to dance.
She's as free as her hair to do whatever she wants, but we're still hoping for some signature Gaga (rather than signature Madonna, etc.) to turn Born This Way, which is due out next week, into a must-have album.
