As the world knows by now, in went Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and his Duchess Kate Middleton Catherine just days ago And today, to keep the universe in balance, we can can announce that Brooke Mueller and America's warlock, Charlie Sheen (see? We Yanks can have titles too) are no longer husband and wife.

After what seems like forever but really was just the standard six months (though they've been living apart since Christmas Day 2009), Sheen and Mueller were officially granted a divorce by Los Angeles Superior Court judge this morning, who signed off on the split—and set today as the dissolution date—in a Feb. 10 hearing.

The combative duo tied the knot on May 30, 2008 and will, per the documents filed earlier this year, split custody of their 2-year-old sons, Max and Bob, with Brooke keeping physical custody. Sheen will pay $55,000 a month in custody to Mueller, the same amount he pays to Denise Richards for their two daughters.

In addition, as already noted, Brooke will walk away from the marriage with a 2009 Mercedes, $1.2 million, which will buy out her share of the Beverly Hills marital home, and a lump sum payment of $758,000.

Which should cover her first couple months of therapy, at least.
