David Arquette Didn't Rip Job Right From Under His Gal-Pal, Partner Says

The party was not over before it began for Jasmine Waltz. Well, not when it came to her supposed new gig at the Roosevelt Hotel, anyway.

David Arquette did not hire and then promptly fire his former good-time gal from his new theatrical venture at the Hollywood hot spot, the actor's business partner tells E! News.

"We respectfully disagree with in touch's [sic] story regarding jasmine having been fired by Beacher's Madhouse," Jeff Beacher, whose burlesque-style variety show previously enjoyed a long run in Vegas, said in a statement.

In Touch, on quite a roll lately, quoted a source who said that Arquette hired Waltz to be nothing less than "the face of the club," but then fired her "personally and professionally" after his split with Courteney Cox became public.

Not so fast, Beacher insists.

"We haven't as yet hired any staff for our theater, or any performers, as we just had our first auditions yesterday," he says. "Jasmine and David were friends, and we would be only too happy to consider Jasmine for any position she may wish to apply for once we complete construction and are actually open for business in early 2011. If she can build a stage, or construct a rig to fly little people from one end of the theater to the other, we'd hire her today."

Maybe it's time for Waltz to trade in her stilettos for work boots.
