It was a run for the books, but Ken Jennings' book remains on a different shelf altogether.

Roger Craig, a 33-year-old Ph.D. student who bested Jennings' record for one-day winnings last week, is now the third-biggest moneymaker in Jeopardy! history after banking $231,200 in seven days of competition, second only to David Madden ($430,400) and ol' KenJen.

And third place is where Craig will stay after his run ended Tuesday when he blew a $2,300 lead in Final Jeopardy, leaving Jennings' seemingly unbeatable 76-day total of $2,520,700 safe for the time being.

"I had no idea that I became the third highest winner until Alex Trebek announced it," Craig said afterward. "I was totally shocked."

"I eat a lot of ramen and pasta so I'm hoping to treat myself to sushi more often," he joked. "I think I'm going to take a lot of people out to dinner now!"

And we bet there are a few ladies out there who will take him up on that.
