The fashion-plate formerly known as Posh Spice and her soccer-stud hubby are reportedly ditching their U.K. digs, a.k.a. Beckingham Palace, with an eye to settling permanently in Los Angeles.

So what's the price tag on that shack?

Estate agents across the pond value it at up to £18 million (approximately $28 million).

David and Victoria Beckham, along with their three sons, have lived at the Sawbridgeworth, Herts location since 1999 (when they paid a paltry £2.5 million for the spread that includes two pools, a petting zoo and extensive grounds).

So is this simply a financial move?

A close family friend told U.K. tabloid The Mirror, "Frankly they cannot see themselves ever returning to make London their full-time base. The children are settled, speak with American accents and David and Victoria are immersed in the laid-back Los Angeles way of life."

"They love it there—they're well liked, have plenty of friends and feel it's their spiritual home."

Plus, with houses in L.A., Dubai and France, what's one less mansion?
