There's a very good reason Lindsay Lohan recently tested positive for amphetamines and opiates.

And it has nothing to do with needing energy to go out at night.

According to Lohan's latest, and rather favorable, probation report, the actress has been adhering to a particular prescription-drug regimen for "as long as she can remember."

Per the report, she has provided proof of all her prescriptions, which include the antidepressants Zoloft and trazodone, the stimulant Adderall, Nexium for acid-reflux and, at times, the painkiller dilaidid for dental troubles.

"[Lohan] states she wants to move on with her life, and feels that she has done everything that the court has asked her to do," wrote Chief Probation Officer Donald H. Blevins in his report, filed Tuesday in L.A. Superior Court.

Blevins states that Lohan has tested negative for alcohol and drugs (other than her prescriptions) five times between May 27 and June 24, and reported for supervision as instructed.

"Her attitude has been positive," the report states, plus she's been "cooperative" with her probation officer and has submitted to drug tests when asked.

He recommended that Lohan continue with summary probation, but a judge upped it to formal probation yesterday, while also sentencing the actress to 90 days behind bars, starting no later than July 20, followed by 90 days of inpatient rehab.
