Is Jennifer Aniston ready to head up her very own office space?

The actress is in talks to play one of the titular jerks in Horrible Bosses, a long-gestating comedy that's attracted a number of big names but has remained without a set cast.

Aniston's come a long way from waiting tables at Chotchkie's, hasn't she?

Colin Farrell is also negotiating to play one of three creepy employers, who ultimately become targets of a murder plot hatched by a trio of horribly disgruntled employees, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Aniston is said to be eyeing the role of "sexually aggressive dentist," while Farrell's up for "weaselly scion." The role of "master manipulator" remains open.

Jason Bateman, who plays Aniston's sperm-switching best friend in The Switch (previously titled, quite horribly, The Baster) and Charlie Day, who does twitchy and down-and-out like nobody's business in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, are in talks to play two of the three best friends who opt to off each other's bosses rather than...quit?
