Most films have reshoots. Why should the Twilight series be an exception?

While rumors insinuating behind-the-scenes drama and studio disappointment with director David Slade have Twi-hards in a tizzy, the production of Eclipse is running according to plan, a rep for Summit tells E! News.

The studio wouldn't confirm when the cameras would begin rolling again, or if Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson or Taylor Lautner would be reporting back to Vancouver, but the spokesman assures us they won't be redoing any of the book's crucial scenes.

"They are not technically reshoots but rather 'pickup shots,' " the rep insists. "They have been planned for several movies and are normal in the filmmaking process (as it happens on tons of movies). They are not shooting anything regarding meadow or action scenes."

Slade, he assures us, will be directing them and should make fans proud.

"The studio is very happy with Slade and some internally think this film could very well be the best of the three."
