Anyone else suddenly get a hankering for some wedding cake?

Love it or loathe it, no one makes an entrance quite like Lady Gaga, who managed in one short red carpet walk to upstage the whole of London's Brit Awards after arriving wearing, well, that.

It's the first of many quick-changes the superstar appears to have in store for her little monsters—in addition to performing during the U.K. answer to the Grammys, Gaga is also up for three awards, including Best International Female, which is starting to look like something of a cakewalk for the singer.

So maybe there's a theme to the night, after all.

Though fans expecting a performance to match the eccentricity of her outfits may be a tad underwhelmed: According to the ever-reliable British tabloids, Her Gaganess has scrapped the performance she's been rehearsing for weeks and is instead expected to deliver an acoustic (and, dare we say, low-key) number in memory of her longtime outfitter and late friend Alexander McQueen.

Who is not to be confused with the outfitter of tonight's ensemble, which the host of the Brits has already joked is a young Swedish designer by the name of IKEA.

Meanwhile, at tonight's 30th anniversary ceremony, Gaga will also vie for International Breakthrough Act and Best International Album for The Fame.

Other contenders at tonight's show include Jay-Z, Leona Lewis, Lily Allen, the Black Eyed Peas, Alicia Keys, Robbie Williams, Rihanna, Norah Jones, Michael Bublé, Shakira, Taylor Swift and a host of old-school performers who are up for tonight's one-off award for Best Brits Album of the Past 30 Years.
