Razzie Noms Are All About Steve Sandra, Will…R.Pattz?!

What with all the fuss over which stars did us—and their careers—proud over the last 12 months, it's easy to lose sight of those who, well, sucked.

But while the critics seem to be in agreement that Sandra Bullock could very well be the best actress of the year, a slightly different group of tastemakers happens has a contrary view: namely, that Sandra Bullock could also very well be the worst actress of the year.

And don't even get them started about Robert Pattinson.

Ain't showbiz grand?

While the British tabloids shouldn't start running those inevitable "Bullock Is Bollocks" headlines just yet, America's sweetheart does have the dubious distinction of being nominated for Worst Actress of the Year. Not for her Golden Globe-nominated turn in The Proposal, nor her Globe and SAG-winning turn in The Blind Side (for which she's also expected to pick up an Oscar nod tomorrow morning).

No, instead it's the sole black mark on Sandy's otherwise golden year, All About Steve, that earned the actress her pair of nominations. The performance also netted her a shared Worst Screen Couple nod alongside Bradley Cooper.

As it happens, should she bag the Worst Actress prize—and she's facing some steep competition, against the likes of Miley Cyrus, Beyoncé, Megan Fox and Sarah Jessica Parker—it could mark the first time a thespian takes home both the Razzie and the Oscar in the same year.

And as Bullock seems just as game, if not more so, than the Razzie-accepting Halle Berry, we're kind of hoping she does win. For the awesome photo op, if nothing else.

Meanwhile, some of Hollywood's leading men were also taken down a notch or two this morning, as Will Ferrell, Eddie Murphy, John Travolta, Steve Martin and All Three Jonas Brothers will duke it out for the distinction of 2009's Worst Actor.

Incidentally, should Martin take home the prize for Pink Panther 2, it will offer yet another best-worst comparison, as the standing Oscars host has also never bagged the bothersome award the same year they emcee.

Could be quite the night of firsts.

Meanwhile, adding insult to injury, Pattinson not only received a Razzie nomination for his vampalicious Edward Cullen in The Twilight Saga: New Moon, but he received it in the category of Worst Supporting Actor. Among others, he's up against Billy Ray Cyrus and Hugh Hefner—who's dealing with some shame of his own this morning, as his nomination came for playing himself in Miss March.

Apparently, he wasn't exactly believable.

Pattz also has to suffer the indignity of being among those up for Worst Screen Couple, partnered with Kristen Stewart and "Taylor Whatz-His-Fang." Clearly, there's not a lot of overlap between Razzie voters and Twi-hards.

In addition to the All About Steve duo, the Twi gang is up against Any Two (or More) Jonas Brothers; Will Ferrell and any costar, creature or "comic riff" from Land of the Lost; and Shia LaBeouf and either Megan Fox or any Transformer.

Sheesh. Everyone's a critic.

Worst Picture of the Year "honors" will be decided between All About Steve, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, Land of the Lost, Old Dogs and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, which the Razzies has helpfully renamed Trannies, Too.

But the Razzie fun doesn't stop there. As this year marks the Golden Raspberries' 30th anniversary, they're bringing out the big (bad) guns, reeling off nominees for Worst Actor, Actress and Picture of the Decade.

Let's just say Battlefield Earth, Freddy Got Fingered, I Know Who Killed Me and Swept Away have their work cut out for them: In the Worst Picture of the Decade category, they're against the punch line that will not die—Gigli.

As for the acting nominees, while all the thesps are up thanks to not one bad performance but many, many bad performances, Eddie Murphy can rest easy knowing he has the most bombs to his name, getting called out for no fewer than 12 stinkers.

He's up against Ben Affleck, Mike Myers, Rob Schneider and John Travolta for worst of the worst, while Mariah Carey, Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Jennifer Lopez and Madonna are the clunkers on the women's side.

And since Mariah Carey doesn't do anything small, she'll be pleased to know that she has the extra honor of being the single biggest individual vote getter of the decade, having taken in more than 70 percent of all tabulated votes for her 2001 turn in Glitter.

Now isn't that Precious.

As always, the awards will be handed out on March 6, the night before the Oscars.
