Jamie Foxx: "Vampire? No. No. No."

Sure, it's no shocker Jamie Foxx can act, sing and look damn good while doing it. But can he bite?
We asked the Oscar winner at the Grauman's Chinese Theatre premiere of his new flick, Law Abiding Citizen, if he'd ever consider jumping on the vamp bandwagon and playing one helluva sexy fanger, on TV or in the movies.
I mean, after all, do you all have any idea the impressive number of romantic partners this sometimes-smarmy lover sinks his pearlies into? So what was Jamie's comeback, you ask?
"Vampire? No. No. No."
Uh, would one "no" have sufficed, do you think?
Apparently the Oscar winner didn't think so. He preferred to be loud, clear and, dare we say, a bit condescending on the matter. Stick to these formulaic and generic thrillers and action movies, then, by all means! Don't tell us you're one of these stars who gets their (well-deserved) Academy Awards for something heralded and edgy (Ray), and then you descend into a sea of paycheck-oriented schlock?
Guess you're in fairly good company, though, if you are, man. I mean, just look at Nicole Kidman's Bewitched-type credits after The Hours, if you don't believe us.
But good news: One gorgeous, well-respected star would be totally thrilled to play a vamp if given the chance...
The divine Viola Davis, Foxx's Citizen costar and Oscar nominee for last year's Doubt, could not be more excited to throw on some fangs.
"Absolutely—I would love to play a vampire!" she exclaimed to us on the red carpet, looking totally stunning in a hot-pink frock. "I would love to be in Twilight, New Moon, Breaking Dawn, Eclipse...I love those books. Which is probably not a good thing to admit—my 14-year-old niece got me addicted."
Hey, no need to be ashamed, babe—we'll welcome you with open arms into our Twi-hearts if you nab a part in Breaking Dawn! Are there any good roles left Viola could grab for her own? How about they write one in? She'd definitely be grateful to join in on all the naughty fun happening in Vancouver!
