Not only was she sick yesterday, but it happened to be on the night of a big bash: Who What Wear's book launch party at the Sunset Tower Hotel where on-again girlfriend Sam Ronson was spinning.

So, of course, Linds took to her Twitter to express her disappointment.

"i'm in bed and i'm sick," she twittered last night. "wish i could hear the tunes of samantharonson @whowhatwear party :( i need cuddles wahhh-"i feel so alone' hehe"

No word on if she got her snuggle session, but she wasn't only celeb who had to sit this one out...

Nicole Richie was "too pregnant" to attend the party, hosted by her friend Katherine Power.

"Nicole isn't on bed rest, but she is due any minute!" a source tells E! News. "She wanted to come, but her friends wouldn't let her."

But plenty of fashionistas did flock to the fete like Jessica Alba, Emma Roberts, Kate Mara, Lauren Conrad and Mila Kunis.
