Jon Gosselin Holes Up in the Hamptons With Kate 2.0

Jon Gosselin moves pretty fast—and he's not the only one.

E! News has learned that the very well separated father of eight is hanging out at Michael Lohan's home in South Hampton, N.Y., with pretty, blonde Star reporter Kate Major.

Meaning, Gosselin's not out living the high life with Hailey Glassman.

"I think they are watching the Jon & Kate," Lohan told E!—referring, we might add, to one of our very own E! True Hollywood Stories.

"Kate has been like a daughter and...Jon and her are good friends," Lindsay's dad says of the duo, who have reportedly been in the Hamptons together for three days. "When they needed a place to relax, I opened my door."

How fatherly of him.

"Jon is a great guy. All he does is to talk about his kids," Lohan said, adding that Major "only has his best interests at heart."

Um, what about Hailey, Jon's maybe-fiancée who just spent a romantic weekend with him in St.-Tropez?!

Well, Lohan wouldn't attest to the platonic or otherwise nature of Gosselin and Major's relationship status. But Kate 2.0, whatever her intentions are, sure has monopolized a big chunk of Jon's time.

Hey, if she's really interested in settling down with the reality-TV dad, we could give her the name of a good place to get a razor-sharp new 'do.
