But does Ashlee Simpson-Wentz have the chops—or desire—to do an entire album of Michael Jackson covers, as reportedly pitched by papa Joe Jackson Simpson?

Alas, the Melrose Place reboot star will not be offering the world her rousing rendition of "Remember the Time" or "Billy Jean."

"Haha jeez," she writes on her Twitter. "I loved M.J. enough 2 never to in my wildest dreams think of doing a tribute album. R.I.P. A legend. Enough with the goofy stories!"
