A school for stalkers? Who knew?

A New York Judge today sentenced the Georgia man found guilty of stalking Tyra Banks to one year of probation. In addition 39-year-old Brady Green was ordered to avoid any contact with the supermodel for two years andto enroll in an anti-stalking course.

Clad in a natty brown suit, Green appeared in Manhattan Criminal Court  accompanied by his attorney. Neither addressed reporters after the hearing was over.

During the trial, Banks testified she was terrified after Green repeatedly turned up at both the Los Angeles and New York studios for The Tyra Banks Show in 2008, including one instance when he tried to push past security, claiming he "had a thing" with her. Banks was barricaded in her dressing room until he was removed.

Green also bombarded the America's Next Top Model diva with love notes, roses, and phone calls and prosecutors claimed he even threatened one of her employees.

In April, Manhattan Criminal Court Judge James Burke convicted Green of stalking, harassment, criminal trespass and attemtped aggravated harassment.

Banks did not attend today's sentencing. Her camp did not respond to an email seeking comment.
