Another Notch for Hugh's Rom-Com Belt

Hugh Grant playing a charming yet lovelorn British fop in a romantic comedy? Will wonders never cease.

The thesp is once again sticking with his patented winning formula in Lost for Words, playing a British movie star (that's acting, folks!) who agrees to act in a Chinese film and begins a flirtation with the translator—only to realize he's actually in love with the non-English-speaking director, played by Ziyi Zhang.

According to Variety, go-to Grant collaborator and the U.K.'s leading purveyor of romantic comedies Richard Curtis will produce the film, which shoots in September.
