A new recording deal isn't the only thing David Cook scored by winning American Idol last week.
After vanquishing David Archuleta, Cook apparently celebrated by squiring away second-season Idol babe Kimberly Caldwell.
Cook, 25, has been making the media rounds touting his hookup. On today's Live With Regis and Kelly, he revealed that he and Caldwell, 26, had a dinner date last week. Things went so well, he said, "we'll probably hang out again. So we'll see."
Which proves the old adage, if you can't win Idol, date one.
