Survivor mastermind Mark Burnett is working on his own economic recovery project.

The reality TV guru is teaming with ABC for Shark Tank, a show aiming to help struggling business types by rewarding them with a financial bailout.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the show will follow entrepreneurs as they pitch their ideas to five multimillionaire investors, dubbed the "sharks." If the contestants fail to persuade the tycoons for funding, they walk away empty-handed.

Shark Tank is based on the hit U.K. program, Dragon's Den, which has run for six seasons on the BBC and itself is a knockoff of a show started in Japan. The ABC version is set to debut next season.

Speaking of stimulus packages, Fox today announced a new reality dating competition called More to Love, which focuses on "a single average guy with a big waist and an even bigger heart as he romances several confident and secure plus-size women." The show, from Bachelor creator Mike Fleiss, will premiere later this year.

Meanwhile, someone who needs no help with the ladies is getting a new gig. Per Variety, Matthew McConaughey will star in Lincoln Lawyer, a thriller about a low-level criminal defense attorney who discovers a possibly dangerous connecting between a wealthy client and one of his old cases.

Is it cougar time for David Duchovny? Kathleen Turner is coming aboard Showtime's Californication to play a tough-as-nails literary agent, Entertainment Weekly reports.
