Nattie Neidhart may be a veteran in the wrestling world but she's got some new tricks up her sleeve, not to mention that she's totally ready for season 3 of Total Divas!
The WWE star has been working out harder than ever in pursuit of the Divas Championship title—a goal she will not give up on.
"I've been training with friends doing grappling," Nattie explained. "I do Ju-Jitsu with former diva Eve Torres and I do amateur wrestling 'cause I'm ready to be the Divas Champion. I'm ready to take over. People believe in me and I love that they respect what we go through. I know who I am, I hold my head up high and I stand for something. Doing Total Divas has actually made me feel more empowered than I have in my life because I get to be myself."
As it turns out, Nattie also has other big plans with husband and WWE Superstar TJ.
"TJ and I talk about our dreams all the time," Nattie said. "There's so much I want to do when I finally win the Divas Championship. I've thought about opening up a gym with my husband and also making it a place where we can motivate other people and teach girls how to do what I do. I absolutely love what I do in the ring and I have a different flavor and flair. I also know it's important to be beautiful and have that aspect of not just puttung people in submission holds but also the entertainment aspect. I'd love to teach women how to do what I do and I don't think there is anything like that right now. We also talk about doing our own workout clothing line together and I've thought about selling my paintings."
Another relationship that viewers will get to see develop in season 3 is between Nattie and the newest addition to Total Divas, Rosa Mendes.
"It's always exciting when you have a new girl because it adds a new dynamic and element," Nattie said. "Rosa is very symbolic of people in life that are trying to find their way. The one thing that's great about Rosa is she's not afraid to let it all hang out and she's not afraid to show who she is. She has some flaws but she's been through some stuff that she's working on changing around and people can connect with that."
When asked how things are with Summer Rae, Nattie was quick to point out that their issues remain unresolved—hinting at potential drama in the future.
"The issues that we have are deep and they are far beyond what meets the eye and I just keep my distance from her," Nattie pointed out. "We have a lot of stuff that we address this season and we never really resolved any of it. I feel bad that we didn't but I don't regret the stance that I've taken because if you don't stand up for yourself, nobody is going to stand up for you. And at the end of the day, Summer Rae knows where she can find me."
