Vicki Gunvalson is poised to set the record straight. E! News can exclusively reveal The Real Housewives of Orange County star is sitting down with Andy Cohen on Monday, Nov. 23 for Watch What Happens Live One-on-One With Vicki Gunvalson.
Andy's interview with the OG of the OC will air at 8:30 p.m. and re-air at 11 p.m. after an all-new episode of Apres Ski.
Throughout the most recent season of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Vicki and ex-beau Brooks Ayers were at the center of all the drama with rumors the Brooks made up his cancer diagnosis and ongoing battle. Brooks sat down with E! News and showed medical documents that were later discovered to be faked.
In a statement to E! News, Brooks apologized for forging documents and maintained Vicki did not know about his lies. In the exclusive clip above, Vicki tells Andy Cohen she did witness Brooks violently ill, which she was told was from his chemotherapy.
"I actually contacted a couple of people and they said you can actually take eye drops and they can make you violently ill. I don't know if he did that. That's pretty sick, but i witnessed him wit fevers and night sweats and chills," she said. Click play above to see what else she had to say about what she did to help cure Brooks. In a release, Bravo says Vicki will apologize to her RHOC cast mates and reveal what she knew and when she started having doubts about her ex-boyfriend.
"Words cannot express the deep regret that I have in fabricating documents to 'prove' to the world that I, in fact, have cancer. What I did was wrong and inexcusable. I acted alone, without Vicki's knowledge, to produce documents for a reality TV show in hopes of putting doubts about my cancer to rest," Ayers told E! News in an exclusive statement. "I never intended to disclose my actual medical records or details about my private and personal medical history, thus the rationalization of presenting documents that weren't true simply for a 'storyline' for the show."
"From this day forward, my own personal journey with this disease will remain private as I initially intended over a year ago," Ayers continued. "My sincerest apologies to my family, friends, loved ones, and those who are battling this horrid disease for any additional pain and/or stress that I have caused. As [University of Louisville basketball coach] Rick Pitino once said, 'Mistakes can be good. They are fertilizer. Everything I've learned about coaching [life], I've learned from making mistakes.' I made a mistake yet I have learned a huge lesson as well."
