Add Ryan Seacrest to the long list of dolls wishing Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick the best.

Exactly one week after E! News exclusively confirmed the Keeping Up With the Kardashians couple was breaking up, the man who is credited with bringing the famous family to reality television is speaking out.

"Obviously, you hate to see a split with people that you know and a family that you know and love," Seacrest revealed on Monday's Today show. "Hopefully things can work for the best of them."

When Savannah Guthrie asked the Knock Knock Live host if there was a chance Disick would be kicked off the show, Seacrest predicted that cameras would reveal the truth.

"Well the show is reality so whatever happens, happens in real time," he explained. New episodes of KUWTK return later this year only on E!

Another family member making headlines across the country is Caitlyn Jenner. Before appearing at Wednesday's 2015 ESPYs Awards, the Olympic medalist has been spending time in New York City.

Seacrest gave a little preview of the amount of attention focused on the 65-year-old.

"My driver just had Caitlyn in the car last week and said that the car needed to be in the body shop for a week after the paparazzi was pounding on the car," he explained. "Lots of activity."

Never one to remain bored, Seacrest also shared some of the projects he's hard at work on. In addition to Knock Knock Live premiering July 21, the On-Air With Ryan Seacrest host just signed a new deal with iHeartMedia to remain on the radio for three more years.

He also hinted that a gig with the Today show at the 2016 Summer Olympics could be in his future.

"Next summer, I was thinking we have not spent enough time together," Seacrest explained to Guthrie. "We bonded so much in London and I started researching restaurants in Rio and I thought, maybe if you're up for it, perhaps we should rekindle at the Olympics."

He continued, "Put in a good word. Tell the Rio department that I'd love to do it."
