Michelle Williams has made it no secret where her priorities lie when it comes to acting vs. motherhood.

"I consider myself a mother first and an actress second, and so the person I most want to thank is my daughter, my little girl, whose bravery and exuberance is the example that I take with me in my work and in my life," the My Week With Marilyn star said in her Golden Globes acceptance speech.

But in spite of her success this awards season, the 31-year-old mom said she's ready to take a break from the acting world and focus on 6-year-old Matilda, her daughter with late actor Heath Ledger

When E!'s own Giuliana Rancic asked the starlet what she's working on next at the SAG Awards Sunday night, Williams said, "absolutely nothing," adding, "I just want to go back to being a mom for a while."

Williams has been particularly candid when it comes to spending time with her daughter, telling OK! Magazine last year, "Even when I'm working I still think about her and can't wait to get back to her at the end of the day...raising my daughter is my absolute priority.

"Everything I do is to make Matilda's world as happy and secure as possible," Williams went on. "I hope one day she will see my movies and be proud of me."

We have a feeling she will.

The Oscar nominated actress received her third Academy Award nomination this year, this time for her role as Marilyn Monroe in the acclaimed biopic.
